Evidence-based intervention for the stress argumentative essay helpSelecting the appropriate intervention for children or adolescents with a stress or adjustment issue greatly depends upon their needs. Consider the following scenario:
Tanya is an 8-year-old girl who was in a severe car accident and sustained multiple lacerations on her face. She endured 6 hours of surgery to remove glass shards from her left eye and received 42 stitches from the left side of her chin to her forehead. Tanya’s surgery left her face disfigured. She spent 8 weeks recovering in the hospital.
Upon her release from the hospital, Tanya’s mother took her to a local ice cream store to celebrate her release. While Tanya enjoyed her ice cream, she suddenly felt as though everyone was staring at her. She observed a teenage girl looking at her and whispering to another friend. She overheard a young child ask her mother, “What’s wrong with her?” Tanya felt ugly and self-conscious because of her scars and she began to cry. Her mother tried to console her daughter but felt it was to no avail. As a counselor, how might you help Tanya adjust to her new face, tap into her resilience, and engage in social situations confidently?
Consider what type of intervention or setting would be most appropriate for Tanya. Is she likely to benefit from individual counseling or from a group setting with other children with similar issues? No matter what intervention you deem appropriate, as a clinician you must confidently convey to children or adolescents that with support and guidance, they can resolve their stress or adjustment issues.
For this Assignment, conduct an Internet search or a Walden Library search for at least one peer-reviewed article that presents evidence-based interventions that support stress or adjustment issues for children and adolescents. Then, select an intervention you might use for the stress or adjustment issue you selected in the Discussion.
The Assignment (2–3 pages):

Describe an evidence-based intervention for the stress or adjustment issue you selected, and explain why this intervention is appropriate.
Explain one way you might address one culture, family, or social factor in your intervention and how.
Describe two ways you might educate and/or support the parents/guardians as they try to help their child or adolescent through the stress or adjustment issue. Be specific.
Use the week’s resources and the current literature to support your response.

Support your Assignment with specific references to all resources used in its preparation. You are asked to provide a reference list for all resources, including those in the week’s res

The Cortez Family case study medical school essay help: medical school essay help

A comprehensive understanding of a client’s presenting problems depends on the use of multiple types ofassessment models. Each model gathers different information based on theoretical perspective and intent. An assessment that focuses on one area alone not only misses vital information that may be helpful in planning an intervention, but may encourage a biased evaluation that could potentially lead you to an inappropriate intervention. When gathering and reviewing a client’s history, sometimes it is easier to focus on the problems and not the positive attributes of the client. In social work, the use of a strengths perspective requires that a client’s strengths, assets, and resources must be identified and utilized. Further, using an empowerment approach in conjunction with a strengths perspective guides the practitioner to work with the client to identify shared goals. You will be asked to consider these approaches and critically analyze the multidisciplinary team’s response to the program case study of Paula Cortez.
For this Assignment, review the program case study of the Cortez family.
In a 3- to 4-page paper, complete the following:

Utilizing two of the assessment models provided in Chapter 5 of the course text, provide a comprehensive assessment of Paula Cortez.
Using the Cowger article, identify at least two areas of strengths in Paula’s case.
Analyze the perspectives of two members of the multidisciplinary team, particularly relative to Paula’s pregnancy.
Explain which model the social workers appear to be using to make their assessment.
Describe the potential for bias when choosing an assessment model and completing an evaluation.
Suggest strategies you, as Paula’s social worker, might try to avoid these biases.

Support your Assignment with specific references to the resources. Be sure to provide full APA citations for your references.

Dead on Arrival : The Politics of Health Care in Twentieth-Century America
Series:Politics and Society in Twentieth-century AmericaAuthors:Colin GordonPublication Information:Princeton, N.J. : Princeton University Press. 2003Resource Type:eBook.Description:Why, alone among industrial democracies, does the United States not have national health insurance? While many books have addressed this question, Dead on Arrival is the first to do so based on original archival research for the full sweep of the twentieth century. Drawing on a wide range of political, reform, business, and labor records, Colin Gordon traces a complex and interwoven story of political failure and private response. He examines, in turn, the emergence of private, work-based benefits; the uniquely American pursuit of’social insurance’; the influence of race and gender on the health care debate; and the ongoing confrontation between reformers and powerful economic and health interests. Dead on Arrival stands alone in accounting for the failure of national or universal health policy from the early twentieth century to the present. As importantly, it also suggests how various interests (doctors, hospitals, patients, workers, employers, labor unions, medical reformers, and political parties) confronted the question of health care–as a private responsibility, as a job-based benefit, as a political obligation, and as a fundamental right. Using health care as a window onto the logic of American politics and American social provision, Gordon both deepens and informs the contemporary debate. Fluidly written and deftly argued, Dead on Arrival is thus not only a compelling history of the health care quandary but a fascinating exploration of the country’s political economy and political culture through’the American century,’of the role of private interests and private benefits in the shaping of social policy, and, ultimately, of the ways the American welfare state empowers but also imprisons its citizens.Subjects:Medical care–Political aspects–United States

Horizontal Integration Assignment writing an essay helpAssignment Details:

· Please reply to the presented statement(s) below.

Deliverable Length: 250 words (minimum) per reply

ONE:
Vertical Integration
The merging firms operates at different levels of value chain. Aims to strengthen the supply chain, it also results in reduction of cost and wastage. Vertical has a strategy that is useful to gain control over the industry. Vertical also helps a company with increasing entry barriers for new entrants, absorbing both the upstream and downstream profits and smoothening the supply chain.
Example: Google’s acquisition of the smartphone producer Motorola in 2012.
Horizontal Integration
The merging firms have same or similar operations activities in terms of product. This one aims to increase the size of the business. The results in elimination of competition and maximizes market share. The control is the strategy that helps in gaining control over the market.
Example: The merger of Marriott and Starwood Hotels in 2016.
They both can be accomplished by internal expansion, merger, or acquisition.
Horizontal vs Vertical Integration | Top 5 Differences (with infographics) (wallstreetmojo.com)

TWO:
My understanding of the Horizontal and vertical integration are two strategic ways by which companies use to merge companies or products to lead competitors. Horizontal integration can be summarized as a company taking over or buying out another company, but still operates independently a few examples could be Walmart and Sam’s club, Walmart selling more individualized items, while Sams club operated as the bulk/commercial sizes, Honda owning Acura, Facebook and Instagram, AT&T and Direct TV .  Like Horizontal integration Vertical integration can be summarized as a mother company owning another entity buy controls the production, sales and location/market type, when thinking about this the first company that come to mind is Nike and sir Jordan’s, although Jordan’s are representing an actual person and is owned   by him but produced my Nike the company Nike still makes the final say as to where and how it is sold.
I believe if a company has intentions to grow locally, nationally, or internationally diversification should be implemented to be a successful company during the growth states. Living here in Arkansas there are Walmart’s everywhere, this company has also expanded to Caribbean, Europe, Asia etc. the company originated in an all-white state where diversity had to be implemented to be successful in different parts of the world.
One benefit for global strategies for organizations is it reaches a larger market preferably overseas. A good example is great value products chips, etc, another could be Lays chips of all sorts. Although expanding your organization globally can be positively impactful it can also be a draw back for your success. Culturally, necessity. What may be a need here may not be of importance there.

Proprietorship Business Transactions computer science essay help

Complete a 3-part assessment in which you create journal entries for a variety of business events, test your recall of accounting fundamentals by answering a series of questions, and identify and prepare entries for the corporate ownership business type.
Although many small businesses might operate on a cash basis, most of the larger ones use the accrual basis to record business events in the general journal. Learning the language of business is very challenging. There are so many terms, procedures, processes, and dos and do nots that keeping track of all of them requires a separate space in one’s brain. There are three business ownership types: (1) proprietorship, (2) partnership, and (3) corporation. Many of their accounting transactions are similar. However, there are some business events that require special transaction handling in accounting entries.
Context
By now, you have seen the end products in the operation of an accounting information system. However, you have not demonstrated how you got there. Getting there is a journey that takes a full accounting period (monthly, quarterly, or yearly) and involves analyzing and recording a series of organizational events or transactions. After all of the transactions have been recorded in a journal, the amounts are posted (transferred) to a ledger (storage for accounts).
The recording process begins with the transaction. Business documents, such as a sales slip, credit card receipt, check, invoice, or cash register tape provide evidence of the transaction. The accounting department assembles and analyzes all of this evidence to determine the transaction’s effects on specific accounts. Once recorded, the journal entry is transferred to the designated accounts in the ledger.
Questions to Consider
To deepen your understanding, you are encouraged to consider the questions below and discuss them with a fellow learner, a work associate, an interested friend, or a member of the business community.

Consider that you have been asked to make a presentation before your organization’s board of directors on how financial information flows through an accounting information system. To make your presentation move smoothly from the beginning to the end and not to lose any of the board members (and to keep them awake), you have decided to make a chart that shows the flow of information and the steps necessary for their understanding. You also need to make some notes on each step so you have a cheat sheet. In making this presentation:

What application would you use to display it for a wow factor?
What information would you include?

Assessment Instructions
This assessment includes three parts. Use the template provided for each part to complete the assessment. The templates are linked in the Resources under the Required Resources heading.

Select three among the several accounting conventions prescribed by law, regulators, and accounting organizations. For each selection, describe its purpose and provide an example of how it would be applied to an accounting system.
Describe each of the three main financial statements—the end products of the work that takes place in an accounting system over a period of time—studied in the course. What does each statement present? Why is it important to prepare these? Who uses the information in the statements? Describe the interrelationship among the three statements.
Discuss the rules of debit and credit as apply to each of the account types that would appear on a company’s balance sheet and income statement. Identify the normal balance for each account type and provide an example event for each. Analyzing business events requires the accountant to make several judgments about the facts contained in the event.

Part 3: Corporate Business Transactions
There are three business ownership types: (1) proprietorship, (2) partnership, and (3) corporation. Many of their accounting transactions are similar. However, there are some business events that require special transaction handling in accounting entries.
For this part of the assessment, use the Assessment 4, Part 3 Template to identify and prepare entries for the corporate ownership business type.

Accounting Knowledge Transfer descriptive essay help: descriptive essay help

Part 1: Proprietorship Business Transactions
Although many small businesses might operate on a cash basis, most of the larger ones use the accrual basis to record business events in the general journal. In this assessment, apply your knowledge of various business events that require journal entries to be made.
For this part of the assessment, use the Assessment 4, Part 1 Template to create journal entries for each of the following business events for Magnolia Greens Frisbee Golf Course:

May 1: Invested $20,000 cash in the golf course business.
May 3: Purchased Hampstead Golf Land for $15,000 cash. The price includes land $12,000, shed $2,000, and equipment $1,000.
May 5: Paid advertising expenses of $700.
May 6: Paid cash $600 for a 1-year insurance policy.
May 10: Purchased golf discs and other equipment for $1,050 from Discs Are Us, payable in 30 days.
May 18: Received $1,100 in cash for golf fees earned (service revenue).
May 19: Sold 150 coupon books for $10 each. Each book contains four coupons that enable the holder to play one round of golf.
May 25: Withdrew $800 cash for personal use.
May 30: Pay salaries for part-time employees $250.
May 30: Paid Discs Are Us the full amount due.
May 31: Received $2,100 cash for fees earned.

Accounts to be used are given below:

Cash.
Prepaid insurance.
Land.
Buildings.
Equipment.
Accounts payable.
Unearned service revenue.
Owner’s capital.
Owner’s drawings.
Service revenue.
Advertising expense.
Salaries and wages expense.

Part 2: Accounting Knowledge Transfer
This part of the assessment allows you to demonstrate and reinforce your knowledge of business accounting terminology by transferring what is in your head onto paper.
For this assessment, use the Assessment 4, Part 2 Template to record your answers to the following short-answer questions designed to test your recall of accounting fundamentals.

Define the internal and external users of accounting data. What data would each group most likely want to review? Provide examples of each user type.
Describe the role ethics plays in the operation of an accounting system. Include a couple of examples.

Complex Coordinated Terrorist Attacks
Terrorism attacks are simple defined as the unlawful and excessive use of violence that is against a certain group of people or property that are mostly meant to coerce the government, the civilian population, any segment thereof, and in extensive the political, and social objectives. Therefore, most of the successful terrorist attacks there must be a very hypothetical complex coordinated plan that is meant to see the successful arrangement of events in the terrorist attack. This greatly helps in making sure that there are lesser mistakes in this event and as well as the overall success of this event. Additionally, some terrorist attacks use chemical, biological and radiological, nuclear explosives that are very harmful to the lives of human beings and may have long-term effects on human beings. This greatly helps them in achieving their mission (Elliot, 2017). This paper aims at developing a plan for a hypothetical complex coordinated terrorist attack with the use of CBRNE in a certain target in your commodity.
In this case, we have a community that participates in various social functions, and based on the different intentions of the terrorist the target areas might differ. Some of the target areas include bars and restaurants, where terrorists develop a well-calculated plan to attack and get hostages who they will use to perceive a government to accomplish a certain want. Another target area is on different fields and stadiums where the terrorists can set up explosives whose aim is to kill the people who will be in that field as a way of sending signals to the government, or terms of revenge over a certain n failed event that they needed to be accomplished. Another target area is a place of worship such as a church, schools, and other social gatherings. Terrorists mostly target areas with a high population so that if they don’t succeed at least they kill a good number of hostages.
In this discussion, we will consider a church and places of worship set up as our base target area in developing this hypothetical plan (Smith, 2002). Therefore, in this target, it comprises of different age demographic factors describing the kind of population found in such a setup, the population found in this target comprises of people with different ages ranging from very young to medium-aged to very old people. This is because there are no major restrictions regarding age in this setup. Additionally, this population comprises people from different social statuses, from low class via middle class to high-class people, people living with disabilities might form part of this population, unmarried and married people can also be found in these target locations. Therefore, the demographic description of such a setting is a mixed population.
Based on the geographical description of this community, the target church is thereby located in the middle of the community. This means that this church will thereby hold people from different corners of the community. In case of a successful terrorist attack, the population from the entire community is likely to be touched by this attack. In addition to this, there is the planned inclusion of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear in this terrorism. This will ensure that the overall effectiveness of the terrorist plan (Smith, 2002). Chemical products will include, warfare objects, industrial chemicals, and harmful products, Biological which will be caused by harmful bacteria or created viruses, radiological, will be effected where radioactive elements are used and finally for nuclear explosions will cause very harmful radiation, alongside thermal effects that might arise out of the nuclear explosion.
After the review of different previous CCTAs, terrorist attackers may employ different tactics techniques, and procedures which thereby will be essential, in this hypothetical plan. First is ensuring we carry out pre-attack reconnaissance and surveillance to gather a lot of information and intelligence needed in tactical planning and execution. Use of well-armed teams in small numbers who will be well-trained individuals and who will employ military or law enforcement style tactics. Additionally, Selecting areas of soft targets or other weak environments will ensure that casualties are maximized. With multiple casualties, the attack will therefore be very efficient and successful. Striking several multiple targeted places simultaneously or in close succession. This brings more confusion and hence the efficiency of the terrorist attacks (Overgaard, 1994) Another tactic is Striking very quickly and being ready to move to another set and identified location before law enforcement officers can come in and disrupt. In the terrorists attack it’s very important to Employ the use of assault weapons, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), explosives, and fire as a weapon additionally may also incorporate other nontraditional unique methods, such as knifing attacks vehicle ramming, or biological agent and dispersing chemicals.
Therefore, in coming up with a Complex Coordinated Terrorist Attack, there is a need to Deploy diversions that show slow public safety response, consume responder resources, and through this, they will draw responders’ attention toward or away from specific directions that the plan demands. Additionally, the use of social media and news coverage helps maximize shock value to all people, spread misinformation to the concerned public, instill fear both to the hostages and government, and promote extreme views which will highly contribute to this (Smith, 2002). Effective communication across the assaulted teams, different targets, and with outside leadership contributes to the success of the attack as loss of communication increases the chances of arrest. Another important aspect is the ability to Coordinate attack timings and methods (e.g., firearms, IEDs, Hazardous Materials with other attackers and all other parties that are necessary for the attack mission. Conduct different secondary attacks on all the first responders, all the evacuation routes, and additional sites that might be needed such as medical facilities, that are part of the response. Being able to easily Adapt and thereby adjust tactics and location quickly based on law enforcement tactics and first responder actions, and finally being able to Learn from past law enforcement reactions and their variance with the first responder tactics and prior CCTA incidents. These efforts cumulatively will lead to the success of the attack.
The next step is to identify the community list of threats and hazards to be included. The assessment of each threat or hazard must meet the two-tail criteria. it must have a very real potential to affect the entire community as well as it must can challenge at least one of the Core Capabilities more than any other threat or hazard can bring on this community. Therefore, the number of threats and hazards that each community may face depends on how different individuals design their community risk profile. Giving these threats and different Hazards in a Context and Estimated Impacts In their different assessments. additionally, communities will add different descriptions for each of the threats and hazards they have selected (Pepper et al., 2019). Illustrating different scenarios shows how the threat or hazard may affect the community and create challenges in performing major Capabilities. Scenarios will include things as follows critical details such as the location of the church which is the target for this attack. The magnitude of the attack on this community and time to attack. Additionally, Communities also estimate the impacts the different scenarios would have on the community in case the plan occurs successfully. If a certain element of the scenario will therefore be essential in understanding the impact of the incident and exploring the different capabilities required to manage it, then it’s important to include such important elements in the context description.

Screening/assessment practice Essay admission essay help

Respond to at least one colleagues who recommended a different screening/assessment practice and provide feedback.
According to Hunsley & Mash, the challenge of identifying which standardized instruments to use in the public sector is complicated by the sheer volume of assessment methods, assessment purposes and processes to treatment (2005). This is where evidence based assessments and evidence based interventions help reduce the burden of having to identify the best practices to implement. Evidence based assessment and interventions are not the fix all for every situation but they can be adjusted upon need and still remain efficient.
Assessments are not meant to add unnecessarily to the paperwork burden for providers and agencies. A piece of evidence-based assessments and practices, are the benefits in not only training professionals to use/implement but the cost reduction of implementing them, the time and resource requirements. This becomes of particular importance when working with populations where free and/or low cost treatment is important. Working with our populations, assessments and treatment interventions must be brief, free or low cost, supported said populations specifically, ethnic minority and low socioeconomic status individuals.
In the case where utilizing an approach like Perlman’s problem solving assessment or even the Cognitive Behavior Assessment where feelings, thoughts and emotions are taken into account to determine and identify maladaptive behaviors, it is easier to implement an evidence based intervention to address/correct the issue.

Vertical integration “the combining of manufacturing operations with the source of materials and/or channels of distribution under a single ownership or management specially to maximize profits.” (Merriam-Webster, 2020)
Horizontal integration is a benefit because the two companies are able to combine their resources and increase production and possibly reduce costs on to the customers. I work for Evergy an electric company that was formed by West Star energy of Kansas and Kansas City Power & Light of Missouri merging together, they say that they are better together than they were standing alone.
Vertical integration helps the company control the price of producing the complete product and the costs of the material needed to complete the product. My example of vertical integration is Netflix they started out as a DVD rental company and now show seasons of television programs as well.
When a company decides to add to the market, whether it be with a new product or by new services. This leads to having concentric diversification with the goal of having a strategy fit and allow the organization to achieve synergy (the ability of two or more parts of the organization to achieve an effectiveness they would not have achieved on their own). They can achieve synergy by combining the firm’s marketing, financial, operating or management efforts. Another diversification strategy to consider is coagulometric diversification (this is when you are using vertical integration). The primary purpose is to improve the organizations profitability by acquiring the corporation or firm. Some of the common reasons of pursuing coagulometric diversification are the growth rate and opportunities. When a corporation decides to pursue a diversified strategy, they need to know whether they want to go into a related or unrelated business to what they are currently involved in. (Wendy H. Mason, 2020)
Global strategy gives an organization the ability to get their product exposed to a larger audience, market, improves the life cycle of the product, makes the company be more resilient against local competition, helps the world to progress and reduce global poverty.
The disadvantages of having a global strategy can include: cultural influences, operational risks, higher obligations, trade barriers, shifts the primary work force, and greater influence on political arena. (Brandon Gaille, 2015)
It would not be viable to open your business in a country that your product goes against their culture and beliefs if you are unable to alter your product to fit into their culture and beliefs. For example, McDonald’s had to alter their menu to fit with India’s beliefs and culture. India is against eating beef so they had to use more chicken and other meat that they do eat in order to strive in India.

TWO:
Compare and contrast vertical and horizontal integration.  What are some of the variables that make each of these integrations valuable? Provide an example of a vertical and a horizontal integration that has happened recently.
Vertical versus horizontal integration are both ways a company can grow but they are very different. Horizontal integration is where one company acquires another company in the same line of service at the same level of that service, or supply chain. Whereas, vertical integration is an acquisition of another company that is in the same line of business but at a different level of service or point in the supply chain. Some elements to consider for horizontal integration are: is the industry growing, does the target of the acquisition have a weakness such as financial resources, will the acquisition provide a significant boost to profits? Things to consider for vertical integrations are: will the integration provide profit increase by gaining the additional operational control of the supply chain, will the integration decrease the power of suppliers, and will this also decrease costs of doing business in the industry in question? Either can provide a significant growth opportunity if these factor are studied (Moltz, 2019).
An example of a recent horizontal integration is the T-Mobile acquisition of Sprint. This was a horizontal integration because both companies were cellular service providers.

THREE:
Horizontal integration is the process of an organization that increasing production of goods or services at the same part of the supply chain like the late summer of 1997 two most critical players in global aviation become a single tremendous titan. Boeing one of the US’s largest and most important companies, acquired its long plane manufacturer rival, McDonnell Douglas, in what was then the country’s tenth largest merger. A company may do this via internal expansion, acquisition or merger the process can lead to monopoly if a company captures the vast majority of the market for that product or services.
Vertical integration in microeconomics management and international political economy refer to an arrangement in which the supply chain of an organization is integrated and owned by that company. as an example consolidation of 787 Dream-liner jet from Washington to South Carolina before The Boeing company manufacturer 787 jet in two location WA and SC at the same time they want decrease the production cost transportation, electricity, labor and get used only single assembly line in South Carolina for more profit.
Diversification is a growing strategy that include entering in to the new market or industry for expanding nationally and international that your business do not currently operate or probably creating new products or service line that organization currently do not offer that one.  the easiest way to diversify your portfolio is with asset allocation funds these are funds with a predetermined mix of stock and bonds like A 60/40 fund which mean 60% of stock and 40% bonds or cash allocation.
A global strategy for a company are direct guide for globalization business connected around the world allows business revenue to do not be confined by borders. A business can employ a global business strategy to reap the rewards of trading in the worldwide market for example the luxury products of company Gucci sells essentially the same products in every country.

Deliverable Length: 250 words (minimum) per reply

ONE:
The Immigration Reform and Control Act apply to my current employer. The reason is that the employer does not agree to employ unauthorized immigrants. As a result, only authorized immigrants are hired.  The consequence of an employer hiring an unauthorized alien is that he might face criminal charges. The employer may also face up to six months in prison.  It is because they would have violated immigration law.  This law is essential in protecting companies from hiring criminals. For instance, an unauthorized immigrant may escape with company properties. As a result, it leads to losses to the employer.  I believe that the economy does not have a shortage of skilled workers. The issue is the hiring process. Thus, rise of corruption leads to employed of the inexperienced person leaving behind the skilled ones.
TWO:
The Immigration Reform and Control Act (ICRA) applies to my current employer since they do not employ unauthorized immigrants.  This is done when employers have every employee complete INS Form, I-9.  Not completing this requirement will result in the termination of the employee. Since it is illegal for any employer to hire foreign workers who are not legally permitted to work in the U.S., violating this law can mean extra fines and up to six months in jail.

ONE:
Yes, the Immigration Reform Act applies to my current employer. The Immigration Reform Act provides protection and security for employment opportunities for citizens of the United States. The Immigration Reform Act does not allow employers to hire person or persons that are illegal aliens in the country. It is illegal for my employer to allow a person or person (s) two apply for a school district employment position without proper legalized paper statements or visas.
The consequences to an employer that hires an unauthorized alien can be severe legal repercussions. For example; Employers that hire an unauthorized alien can be brought up on criminal charges and serve 6 to 12 months in prison. In the year 2020 Homeland Security has made fine increases with form I-9 that employers that hire illegal aliens can be now fined starting at $500 up to $5000. (Form I-9 Fines Raised for 2020. (n.d.). There are many people from different countries, that are willing to work under the radar. The important lesson to learn is that everyone should be treated equally. This means that although someone may be from another country, he/she should get the proper paperwork so that they also can be paid fairly.
The immigration Reform Act law is important because there must be a balance in the workforce in the United States. The Immigration Reform Act law provides security not just for illegal immigration but also for the citizens of the United States. It would be unfair for a person from another country to be able to achieve your job position if you had worked hard in years of college education and in training. If there are enough jobs that are available, for someone from another country to get the proper paperwork, and then is provided employment, in my opinion, I say welcome to the United States. Yes, this is my opinion, not most people feel the same.
Yes, I do agree that the economy has a shortage of skilled workers.  Hispanic culture skills are with their hands, in construction, bricklaying, roof repair, and other types of maintenance service. This does not mean that their job positions are less valuable than the clerk accountant that works in the bank. Most families prepared their children in the United States to become doctors, lawyers, teachers, and other blue-collared professions. The economy provides some technology colleges for plumbing, service maintenance, mechanics, fashion design, animation art tech, or accounting. There are not many colleges that are focused on, furniture designs, candle designs, or to become a florist. Most of these types of skills, are either from family businesses, or is it in a person’s natural skilled gift. Can we go back 100 years to review what a skilled worker looks like?

TWO:
My current employer complies with the immigration reform control act of 1986. The company employs U.S. citizens and or non-citizens who are authorized to work. Employees are required to provide original documents showing they can work in the U.S. (I-9) form the company also participates in the E-verify. If an employee refuses to provide the required forms they will be terminated, if the employee gives false information to obtain or keep a job with the company they will be terminated and the employer may repot the employee to the authorities.
If an employer hires an unauthorized Alien they could face criminal charges, managers and owners could face up to six months in prison if a pattern of hiring unauthorized workers is established. Undocumented and “illegal” immigrant is a term that is used often but, there is a difference and alien is someone who has entered the U.S. illegally and can be deported or entered legally and lost their legal status. An undocumented immigrant/worker is someone who has entered the U.S. legally, but has overstayed their  time limits which makes their presence unlawful. Either way employers need to be aware of their employees status.
In my opinion the law is important because it does allow people that are not U.S. citizens to come to the U.S. with the proper documentation and it is a way to stop said persons from gaining employment to stay in the U.S. without being properly documented. It is also important because it prohibits companies from hiring employees for lower wages and not paying benefits. I also think the law is important because it helps build diversity and unite families who may have been separated or may be seeking safety from war or violence. My answer to whether the economy is facing a shortage is yes and no, Yes because there is not enough training so that employees learn manufacturing skills, in the area in which I their is a decline in manufacturing jobs available where employees did skilled labor with their hands or even jobs as simple as seamstresses, tailors or upholsters . I say no because it is my belief that this economy is full of very skilled and talented people who are just not able to utilize their skills either because of opportunities or lack of, or employers will not hire them because of their backgrounds or they have had to take jobs just to provide for their families. These skilled workers are simple not working, but, they are there.
THREE:
Yes, the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) does apply to my current employer.  IRCA requires an employer to verify the work status of its employees.  This requires the employer to complete and retain an I-9 form which is the Employment Eligibility Verification.  Many companies use an E-verify process since it is more efficient and easier for reporting.  My employer does not currently use E-verify and when we hire a new employee, we have a new process in place due to COVID and because we do everything remotely.  In other words, instead of physically holding the documents and verifying when completing the I-9 form we will now ask the employee to scan the original or take a picture of the original and send it to us via email.
If an employer knowingly hires an unauthorized alien, they can face sanctions of civil penalties and criminal penalties.  Civil penalties can be fines for not only knowingly hiring an unauthorized alien but also for failing to complete the I-9 verification requirements or falsifying documents.  Criminal penalties can include prison times and fines over $1,000 per unauthorized alien
In my opinion the IRCA is important to ensure we are hiring authorized people only which will allow jobs for the citizens.  This law also will ensure the fairness of businesses abiding by the law and not receiving an unfair advantage.  This will help the wages remain competitive and allow the employer to attract good workers.  The law will also help reduce the likelihood of the business taking advantage of these workers by paying them less in wages and not providing benefits that are provided to other employers.
I do think the economy has a shortage of skilled workers because of the number of jobs that remain open while at the same time unemployment is still present.  I also think that the cost of an education contributes to this and the cost has continued to get higher than it has in the past.  Another factor is location of the jobs that are open.  Some locations are less appealing to live for some people.  For example, some people may not choose to live in North Dakota or South Dakota because of the cold winters and because these states are some with the fewest population.  On the other hand, there are also locations that have a higher population that some jobs cannot keep pace with the population growth.  Another factor is there is a higher number of elderly people in the population and therefore fewer people to choose from for the open positions.

My first writing about my problems was :
I love to communicate with people around me since I was ion school. I used to be a member in student council. I improved a lot of my communication there, but of course there is always a stage for improvement. I still need to improve my understanding of the importance of body language and how to control it. Most of the time when I communicate with people I give them wrong impressions that I didn’t mean. For example, I involuntarily fold my hand around my waist, which gives the listener the impression that I do not agree with him or against him. Also, I need to develop the tone of the voice, because I always get into problems and embarrassing situations during dialogues because of the tone of my voice. I have a voice that is considered relatively loud. The other person may understand that I am angry or trying to downplayed his opinion, but this is not the truth. Also, one of the problems that I frequently face is related to the language of the other person’s body. I am having difficulty understanding the other party if I do not see it. For example, I hate conversations on the phone because I do not see the person, and therefore I do not understand much of what he says or means. Sometimes I understand the opposite thing completely because I don’t see his body language. This problem appears in the dialogues in my mother tongue and in English, and this is what made me sure that there was a problem. I also face another problem because I am shy when I am around new people. This problem is disappearing day by day. When I am around my people I talk too much and say my opinion loudly, but with new people I prefer to stay in my comfort zone. Because of this, I don’t have too many friends in the USA. I even didn’t know that there are too many people from my country that study here! To solve this problem I started joining organizations and go out with new people. I also met a girl in this class who is the leader of Omani stunts organization. I joined that organization and I am going to meet more people this Friday. I will try to improve my skills as much as I can. I am good at listening to people face to face but I still need to improve listening to people without the body language. Since this class is online that mean there is no body language so my plan is to challenge myself by communicating with my classmates and understand them.
In this class we covered :
Chapter 1: The Human Condition
Chapter 2: The Human Communication Tradition
Chapter 3: The Difference Between Hearing And Listening
Chapter 4: Interpersonal Communication
Chapter 5: Small Group Communication

Chapter 8: Outlining and Supporting Your Arguments
