Some groups of individuals think that Honduras is a very country when one cannot wish to go because of the widespread news that Honduras is the country recording the highest crime rates. These Individuals think that the cities are full of dirt, the airports are not tidy due to bad management and bad people all over the streets. However, this is not true about that country. Some individuals have gone to the place due to different reasons like further studies, business purposes, and other reasons. These individuals have, however, reported other news concerning Honduras. Despite many warnings given to people who travel to these countries, this group of individuals prepared themselves adequately and conducted their tour around the region. Individuals say that San Pedro Sula has the highest murder cases in the world. The people of Honduras are amicable despite the poverty in the region. One fact about Hondurans is that they are very friendly and welcoming to the people they know and foreigners who come to tour that place. This is because they expect tourists to reward them with gifts and probably money; this is one remedy the Hondurans prefer to use to fight poverty. The factual information concerning Honduras can only be obtained through interviewing the individuals who went to the place. These tourists have therefore reported positive findings concerning Honduras. Things there are pretty different from what the media has circulated.

Additionally, some people think that Honduras is a country that depends on foreign aids since it is very poor. Through the statistics collected by the world bank, Honduras is considered the poorest country in Central America, with sixty percent of the individuals living in poverty. However, people should know that the poorest country in a particular region may be the richest in another place. Besides, the gross domestic product of Honduras is relatively higher than that of many countries elsewhere. The last stereotype people think is that Honduras is a poor country where tourists will not wish to travel to tour because of the various insecurity cases in the place. The logistics are also concerned with the packing of goods which may release a lot of solid waste into the environment. It’s therefore undeniable that logistics services are a major contributor to environmental pollution and associated greenhouse effects. The concept of sustainable development in logistics was initiated in the industry in conjunction with environmental protection agencies with the aim of enhancing environmental-friendly logistics practices to ensure environmental protections for the present and future generations. This study aims at analyzing the logistics industry in Ghana to determine the level of quality and sustainability of logistics applied by the logistics firms and therefore recommend appropriate improvement of the quality of logistic services for sustainable development.



Logistics are an essential component of major economic sectors, especially the manufacturing and production industry, tourism, and agriculture. These sectors are significant determinants of the global economy and form the backbone of human livelihood. According to Taniguchi (2014), companies view logistics as a vital blueprint of the supply chain used in management, coordination, and monitoring of resources to ensure the movement of products smoothly, timely, and reliably from producers’ consumers. The vitality of logistics services calls for improvement of their quality to enhance effectiveness. Busher and Tyndall (2017) stipulate that at the heart of quality logistics services is sustainable development, among other factors such as the speed of operations and flexibility of services. That the concept of quality logistics services is not yet at its full implementation as traditional logistics is still predominant in the industry. On the contrary, Gu et al. However, it’s undeniable that the industry’s advancement rate is still slow, and quality logistics services are always a debatable concern that needs more research. According to Busher and Tyndall (2017), sustainable development in logistics is a major concern in the quality of logistics since it’s a present and future determinant of human living’s environmental condition. Through intensive research has been done in the field, little practical approach has been undertaken to correct the ever-increasing environmental impact of logistics services. Green logistics is core in environmental protection which is a global initiative. It will minimize carbon dioxide in the atmosphere among other solid waste, thereby controlling the greenhouse effect. Sustainable development in logistics perseveres the environment for future business and human living; therefore plays a crucial role in enhancing the long-term goals of the logistic companies and other economic sectors.  The benefits of sustainable logistics cannot be underestimated, and being a contemporary issue, more research is inevitable. This study aims at examining measures of improving the quality of logistics for sustainable development.


Research methods

The research was qualitative. Various literature pieces were searched and analyzed in this research to extract important information to evidence the appropriate measures of improving the quality of logistics services for sustainable development. A semi-structured review was incorporated to enable the use of different types of narrative and methods to ensure adequate and convincing pieces of evidence were properly analyzed and evaluated.

According to philosophers, it provides a situation where each party has an equally effective opportunity to participate in the dialogue. Whereas dialogue does not require equal rights for the parties involved, it has some reciprocity and symmetry. Therefore, a conversation always maintains hope and claims to guide in rationally resolving issues through dialogue. The rationality of communication theory of interpersonal exchange states that all speech acts aim to meet a mutual understanding. Communication is responsible for transmitting and renewal of cultural knowledge for mutual understanding (Peters et al.5).  Therefore, the transmission then coordinates action towards social integration, enabling the people to form their subjective identities.

Philosophy as Teleological Science

Teleological ethics is the theory of morality that guides duties or moral obligations to achieve something good and desirable. Teleological theories have that the end is a sum of experiences and feelings resulting from an action. Other teleological views have that survival and growth mark the end of a move, while some say it is the experience of power, freedom, satisfaction, and adjustment. The principal intention of engaging in an act is in the forthcoming consequences (Ware and Owen 570). If the choices are good, then it shows the balance of the good and evils of the impacts with nothing acting upon the nature of the act

. Utilitarianism consists of three key elements. The elements state that the consequences of an action will tell if it was wrong or correct; the amount of happiness is used to examine the value of the effects of that particular action. The last element is during the assessment of total satisfaction brought about by a certain number of people equals the value of happiness. Therefore, the value of one’s happiness is similar to another’s (Ware and Owen 576). For the case of these theories, it has to show either what is perceived as immoral is not the case, or if so, then a closer look into the results will have the fact brought to light. Philosophers try to explain this by advocating for a plurality of ends and attainment of virtue itself that can be considered reasonable and desired much as any other good.

People with positive attitudes relate with others better, which will be a great determinant to the success of a group’s task if they are part of it. When tasks are given to them, they do it with positivity and produce remarkable results, hence more profit.
