The industrial revolution is characterized as the transition from the first industrial revolution to the new manufacturing processes in the United States and Europe at large. The period of transition was between 1760 and 1840 (Kravchenko & Kyzymenko, 2019). the change involved the transition from methods such as hand production to fast and effective methods. The use of windmills and water power and the making of useful tools were pivotal in the revolution. The industrial revolution initially started on the little island in the 18th century (Schwab & Davis 2018). People in that place had used all their trees in the building of houses and ships for navigating. The other woods were used for the cooking and night heating during winter. During their search for something for use, they came across coal found on the earth’s surface. In the middle 17s, they made an engine that burned coal to produce steam, which later drove pistons. These engines were used for other uses. This adaptation of steam proved to be efficient and could use little fuel. Steam power went through an extensive expansion in the 1800s. The adaption led to its adaptation to the transport industry through the first train engines that enabled other countries’ movement and enhanced trade, thus changing history. The development of steam helped them navigate through the canal routes .the steamboat invention technology-led domestic and shipments of freights in the United States. There was a notable decline in subsistence farming, and large numbers of consumer goods were evident. During this revolution, the people shifted from an agricultural-based economy to a machine-based one. The change led to a dense population found in the countryside, which is seen till today.

The change impacted the populations in those places to date. The industrial revolution impacted world history immensely. There were profound economic changes that led to social and economic transformations in the United States. The industrial revolution changed world history through spurring wealth divisions among classes evident today. Industrial modernization led to wealthy neighborhoods that gave people to build individual houses that represent the classes of life in history. The industrial revolution led to a replacement of the native way of industrial production. In the mid 19 century, trade unions were forming to mark it in history where they fought for their rights. They were being given tedious work and low payments. The formations of trade unions have impacted positively on modern history. Economic growth led to the ownership of stocks and businesses by individuals. This industrial revolution led to companies such as insurance and banks that have favorably impacted the life we live in today.

The society we live in today was affected by the industrial revolution. Ranging from the industries we live in today and the companies, the industrial revolution positively impacted many sectors ranging from the manufacturing and the agricultural sector. The industrial revolution also affected the population and how places are populated in the world. The industries have also impacted the outbreak of diseases in history like the American cities. The industrialization has impacted positively or negatively on the course of history in the world. The inglorious basterd describes the theme of war during the massacre of Jews by the Nazis. A survivor of the raid on her family, Shosanna, uses a French alias to establish a life in a different region and plans to avenge by killing Nazi leaders attending a film in her cinema she operates. on the other hand, a group of American soldiers is on a mission to create fear in German Nazi soldiers by killing them and scalping. Among the ranks of German soldiers is Landa, who is responsible for the death of Shosanna’s family.

Sigmund Freud’s theory of psychoanalysis separates three distinctive parts of the human mind. According to Zhang (2020), they are the ID, The ego, and the super-ego. The superego is represented throughout the film. it encompasses the conditioned ideas that come from the society or individual’s upbringing. In most cases, the superego works by suppressing the ID and influences the ego to act morally other than realistically. Moreover, the internalized ideals form the basis of right and wrong for an individual. Therefore, the aim of the superego is moral perfection without the consideration of the present reality.

Generally, the movie precipices world war II and its effects on the prosecution of Jews. Under this premise, the Germans are conditioned to hate the Jews. Another psychological theory present in the film is Ivan Pavlov’s classical conditioning which infers to the individual actions in life, how one learns and accomplishes tasks. In his argument, Pavlov uses his dog to illustrate. In his experiment, he conditioned his dog to respond to the ringing of the bell as a call for feeding. In war, the people are conditioned to save their lives despite the choices they have to make. The French dairy farmer interrogated by Landa reveals the hiding place of the Dreyfus family on the promise that his family is spared. His action reveals the classical conditioning of the terror of war where individualism is more practical than humanity. The behaviorism theory also includes operating conditioning by B.F Skinner (Clark, 2018). He argues on the use of a mechanism to initiate and maintain a consistent behavior. The soldiers in the Basterd squad perpetrated death and scalping on the German soldiers intending to cause fear among them. The resultant fear targeted the surrender of the Nazi.

Zone of proximal development is a learning theory by Lev Vygotsky that distinguishes what one can learn with or without the help of others (Esteban-Guitart, 2018). The plot of Shosanna depicts an application of the theory. On her own, Shosanna realized that she could not effectively execute the plan to arson the cinema during the premiere. Therefore, she sought the help of a sniper named Zoller. Besides, in most parts of the film, the theory shows how groups of people require others to accomplish agendas.

The human ecological theory explains the influence of the environment on human development. Five environmental systems defined in this theory are mesosystem, microsystem, exosystem, chronosystem, and macrosystem (Tudge, Jonathan, & Edinete, 2019). Depicted in the film is the influence of the macrosystem and chronosystem. The macrosystem refers to the culture of a person. The movie is set around different cultures that precipice the behavior or lifestyle in the different characters.  War as a macrosystem termed individuals as the victim or perpetrators. As shown in the film, one was ready to either fight the opponents or be at their mercy. The French farmer was at the mercy of Landa which prompted him to act as a traitor to his Jewish neighbor. On the other hand, the Basterd group’s acts of revenge were in response to the persecution acts on Jews by the Nazi soldiers.

The chronosystem involves the shifts or transitional aspects in an individual’s life. Similarly, the influence of the contextual socio-historical experiences on someone is theorized under the chronosystem. Shosanna escapes the shooting raid on her family and establishes a life in Paris working at a cinema. She changes her name to avoid racial profiling as a Jew. Her plan to kill the Nazi leaders through arson stems from the hatred towards them for killing the rest of her family. Moreover, similar historical influences run through the film where the German soldiers are facing great opposition from their acts of persecution.

It can be calculated by subtracting the cost of an investment from the current value of the investment. The answer is then divided with the cost of investment. In the year 2015 of figure 1.0, the total revenue obtained in that year was 200,653,482.000, the costs were 123,482,118.00.  ROI can be calculated by subtracting the costs from the total revenue where we get 77,161,364. ROI is expressed in terms of percentage so this figure after subtracting will be divided with the cost of investment then expressed over 100 to get the percentage. Table 1.0 indicates the ROI  from 2015 to 2018. In this years value innovation was highly used. It indicates profit to the organization in all these years.

The determinations of this organization towards this innovation are by paying attention to the customer’s voice: At the global level, Samsung struggles to comprehend consumers’ habits in the individual nation by dispatching employees to take part in advanced degree programs at regional colleges. They collect customer desires and integrate them into the products.

Samsung is one of the largest firms in the world and this is attributed to its competitive advantage of being innovative. Innovation keeps organizations profitable and in the constantly changing world a company needs to innovate to adapt. Innovation also helps an organization differentiate itself and give a competitive advantage over other organizations. Nearly all companies are influenced by these factors: political factors, social, technological and economic factors. Samsung found itself in a political scandal where it was involved between two parties of the government;  leading and the opposition party. This manipulation weakened the brand’s image and this resulted in a decreased return on investment.

In the year 2018  the ‘NAND FLASH” and “DRAM products” had made high profits, but in 2019, the profits decreased because of supply outweighed demand. In this year 2020 Samsung ROI continue to decrease because of the pandemic. Despite the highly innovative capability of Samsung in electronics the sale continues falling. This is because of restrictions on travelling and also retail closures. The company is purchasing personal protective clothing for their employees in this pandemic and this in turn increases the costs. High costs and low revenue will result in a decreased return on investment.
