For those definitions or uses that pertain to the nursing profession, you will explain the concept in such a way that includes examples, analogies, and self-explanatory descriptions.

Resistance and reactions to change from the employees common app essay help: common app essay help

You anticipate a great deal of resistance to change from the employees of Pegasus, especially if there are layoffs involved. You and the HRD group must first identify the emotional factors of change and then present a plan to address these issues to the company in a meeting. You must consider the overall culture of the organization as well as all the subcultures.
Research how people and organizations react to change, both positive and negative. If possible, interview coworkers, family, and friends who have experienced substantial change in their lives. Review articles and books on how organizations have successfully moved through changes, and study those that have failed to make changes to succeed. Develop a set of recommendations that will minimize the negative reactions from individuals and the organization to the change being planned for Pegasus. Be sure to cite your sources using APA guidelines.
Prepare a presentation for Pegasus’ senior management team, focusing on anticipated employee reactions to organizational change (including the possibility of layoffs), and complete the following:

Present your findings from your research and surveys on how people react to change.
Propose an action plan to address these reactions.

Writing Goals and Objectives for Your Grant aqa unit 5 biology synoptic essay helpGRANT PROPOSAL TOPIC
My project idea is developing a grant that will assist with disruptive/unruly high school students. Once this proposal is developed and funded it will assist schools and their teachers with methods that will allow them to be more in control of their classrooms which will ultimately promote effectiveness and a higher graduation rate. Better classroom management techniques will be more appealing to stakeholders and other organizations because it will make education in the public school system more marketable when compared to private schools.
Discussion: Writing Goals and Objectives for Your Grant
A goal is a general statement of what you hope to accomplish with your grant. In grant writing, there are 2-5 goals. Goals are broad generalizations and are abstract, not measurable. Each goal is about the outcome or impacts your grant-funded health education program is going to accomplish. In your goals, you want to catch the eye of the grant reviewers. Your goals must loop back to your needs statement.
An objective is directly tied to the goal the grant seeker is trying to achieve through grant funding opportunities. Objectives are very targeted and include the outcome(s) that will help accomplish the goal the objective addresses. In grant writing, SMART objective writing application should always apply. SMART stands for specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-phased. There should be 2-5 objectives for each goal, and there should be enough objectives to accomplish the goal.
Below is an example goal and an objective for a goal.
Goal #1: Increase physical activity in children and their parents in Wilmington, Delaware through the “Walking for Life” health education program.
Objective 1A: At the end of the first six months of the “Walking for Life” health education program, 100 parents and their children will increase their daily physical activity to walking at least one mile.
For this week’s discussion board, you will be sharing your health education program’s needs statement, two goals, and two objectives. Ensure all parts of the posting are aligned to guidelines and requirements contained in the RFP.
Note: To be respectful of your peers, in providing feedback that will be useful to them as they finalize their Needs Statement, Goals, and Objectives for Assignment 1, you are encouraged to post your responses to your colleagues by Day 5.
Post the following:

Your Needs Statement, Goals and Objectives.

Research on a proposal for a new electoral system for Canada college admission essay help houston tx: college admission essay help houston txTHIS IS A GROUP ASSIGNMENT WE HAVE FINISHED MOST BUT WHAT I WILL NEED YOU TO DO IS FINISH MY PORTION OF THE ESSAY IN WHICH YOU WILL BE PAYING CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING;

REPRESENTATIVE
FAIRNESS OF REPRESENTATION
STRONGER VOTER PARTICIPATION

WE HAVE DECIDED TO USE AN ALTERNATIVE VOTE SYSTEM (AV)

A proposal for a new electoral system for Canada

This group project will develop the details and arguments for a new electoral system for Canada.
You should focus on changing the electoral system only while maintaining the current arrangements for other institutions such as the parliamentary system.  Groups of no more than 5 students will discuss and devise a new electoral system for Canada, present its details and the arguments for its adoption.  There is a great deal of information on electoral systems available on the internet and in the library.  Citizen Assemblies on electoral reform recently held in British Columbia and Ontario, similar commissions in other countries and Fairvote Canada, an interest group for electoral reform, have all produced research and ideas on the subject and there is a massive amount of research material to help you complete the project.  It is an ambitious project, but it is also feasible, as citizen assemblies have recently shown.

The assignment has two components:

A 10 minute in-class presentation of your proposed electoral system in the final two classes of the term.
A 10 page paper that presents your new electoral system and shows how it improves on the problems of the current system and advances arguments for and against your proposal.

Written paper
The final 10 page paper, from which the in-class presentation can be abstracted, should present the proposed electoral system, explain how it meets the 8 criteria set out in the Ontario Select Committee on Electoral Reform, describe how it will affect the behavior and internal structures of parties, present arguments for why the new system is an improvement and discuss what aspects of the new system will be most contentious.

Representatives
The connection between an elected representative and the people she represents can differ from one to another electoral system.  Our current first past the post system, properly referred to as a single member plurality system, has one member per district.  Other systems have multi-member districts that fundamentally alter the relationship between a voter and their representative or representatives.  It is important to think about the relationship between the representative and the represented when you design your new system.

TO FIND INFO ON STRONGER VOTER PARTICIPATION IN CANADA AND FAIRNESS OF REPRESENTATION PLEASE CHECK THE ONTARIO SELECT COMMITTEE ON ELECTORAL REFORM ONLINE AS LISTED BELOW

The Criteria
The Ontario Select Committee on Electoral Reform identified 8 criteria for a new electoral system for Ontario and you must use the same criteria when addressing your proposed electoral system.  You can read about the criteria in the Report (pp. 13-18) but they included:

Fairness of representation
Stronger voter participation

A 2-3 PAGE PAPER DISCUSSING OUR NEW ELECTORAL REFORM (WITH THE BASE OF AN AV SYSTEM). PLEASE DISCUSS REPRESENTATIVES, FAIRNESS OF REPRESENTATION AND VOTER PARTICIPATION IN AN AV SYSTEM. YOU ARE WELCOME TO PROPOSE MINOR CHANGES IN THE AV SYSTEM IN WHICH YOU THINK WILL FIX OR HELP THIS SYSTEM

UNDER VOTER PARTICIPATION PLEASE INCLUDE THE IDEA OF OUR HOW TO VOTE CARD AND HOW IT IS SENT OUT PRIOR TO ELECTIONS WHICH WILL PROMOTE VOTE TURNOUT AND GIVE FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW VOTERS

PLEASE ALSO DISCUSS A $30 FINE FOR ANYONE WHO DOES NOT VOTE IN WHICH INTEREST WILL BUILD ON IF NOT PAID ALL MONEYS GOTO ELECTION FUNDING

All parties are welcome to run
Eliminate donkey voting- order effect

Ie) each ballot will have the candidates names in different order

UNDER FAIRNESS OF REPRESENTAION PLEASE DISCUSS THE FOLLOWING

Representation by population – requires that each vote carry an equal weight in electing Members and a government.

The voter has the chance to rank the candidates in order of preference.
The voter puts a ‘1’ by their first choice a ‘2’ by their second choice, and so on, until they no longer wish to express any further preferences or run out of candidates.

Proportionality – our parties seat share in the legislature will reflect its vote share in the election.
Social representation – requires that the make-up of the legislature reflect the social characteristics of the population at large.

Full support of both majorities as well as minorities
Not excluding gender equality, same sex marriage, sex education, cultural diversity as well as the ongoing issues surrounding aboriginal peoples

UNDER REPRESENTATIVES PLEASE DISCUSS ANYWAYS IN WHICH YOU THINK CAN BETTER THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE REPRESENTATIVE AND COMMUNITY

PLEASE SEARCH AND READ THOROUGHLY ON ALTERNATIVE VOTE PARTIES IN CANADA BEFORE STARTING THIS ASSIGNMENT

Assignment on learner development, learning differences, and application of content personal essay help: personal essay helpReflective Journal: Learner Development, Learning Differences, and Application of Content
An important part of being an educator is reflection. Reflection is a learning process through which you use your experiences and knowledge to guide you in the future. Each week you will have the opportunity to use your journal to reflect on the content you have learned in this course and throughout your degree program. Specifically, you will reflect on the connections you see between each case study and two to three topics from the Program Comprehensive Exam.
This week we will be focusing on learner development, learning differences, and application of content. As you learned from this week’s readings, understanding your students is critical when you are trying to meet their developmental and academic needs. In order to do this, you must differentiate your instruction. To learn more about differentiated instruction, please read the article Differentiating instruction in the preschool classroom: Bridging emergent literacy instruction and developmentally appropriate practice.
Take a few minutes to think about how the case study addresses these topics. The questions below may spark some ideas regarding learner development, learning differences, and application of content. You do not need to address all the questions; instead, write down your thoughts as they unfold.
Reflect on the following in your journal:

What do you remember about how your own teachers differentiated instruction in order to meet the needs of all the children in your childhood classroom(s)?

How was this similar or different to what Mrs. Ashland did in the case study to meet the needs of Johnny, Jack, Maya, Caleb, Kayla, and Jane?

What are some strategies that Mrs. Ashland used to meet the cognitive, social and emotional, language, physical, and moral development of her students?

Do you plan to use any of the strategies that your teachers or Mrs. Ashland used?  Explain your thinking using justification, supporting details, and critical thinking.

Carefully review the Grading Rubric for the criteria that will be used to evaluate your journal entries.

Assignment on common core or early learning standards lesson plan essay helpCommon Core or Early Learning Standards Lesson Plan
Throughout Week Two you have had the opportunity to plan instruction for the students in Mrs. Ashland’s class. Now you will have the chance to use what you have learned about planning instruction from the discussion forums and apply it to a new situation.
As discussed in Chapter 3 of our text, most states are using the Common Core State Standards Initiative or Early Learning Standards to guide their teaching. Starting on page 5 of Chapter 3 of the text, the author clearly outlines considerations that need to be made when planning curriculum for infants/toddlers, preschoolers, and primary-grade students. Using these considerations and either the Common Core Standards or the Early Learning Standards for your state, choose one standard. You will need to develop a lesson for teaching this standard to infants/toddlers, preschoolers, and primary- grade children. It is required that you use the Lesson plan template to complete this portion of your assignment.  It is suggested that you utilize the Early Childhood and Child Development: Lesson Plan Handbook as a guide for how to more effectively plan this lesson.
Your lesson plan should include:

A title page.

An introductory paragraph that describes the physical environment of the classroom where the lesson will be taught.

All aspects of the lesson, using the lesson plan template provided. In addition to the completion of the template, please address the specific requirements listed below:

Identify which Common Core Standard or Early Learning Standard you will address and which National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) standard is being covered (in the Standards section of the template).
Within the differentiation section, clearly differentiate how you will modify the lesson for infants/toddlers, preschoolers, and primary-grade.

A closing paragraph, following the completed template, that discusses which of the considerations mentioned in the text for planning curriculum for infants/toddlers, preschoolers, and primary-grade students you took into account when developing this lesson.

This assignment should be submitted as a two- to three-page document, not including the title and reference page. Make sure to include at least one scholarly source in addition to the course text to support your ideas; use APA formatting.

Carefully review the Grading Rubric for the criteria that will be used to evaluate your assignment.

Reflective Journal: Leadership, Professional Knowledge and Ethical Practice
An important part of being an educator is reflection. Reflection is a learning process through which you use your experiences and knowledge to guide you in the future. Each week you will have the opportunity to use your journal to reflect on the content you have learned in this course and throughout your degree program. Specifically, you will reflect on the connections you see between each case study and two to three topics from the Program Comprehensive Exam.
This week we will be focusing on leadership, professional knowledge and ethical practice. There are many elements in education that receive attention due to the controversies surrounding them (kindergarten readiness, play in preschool, curriculum approaches, technology in education, and universal pre-k). As a reflective practitioner, it is important to consider both sides and then form your beliefs using your knowledge and experiences.
Take a few minutes to think about how the case study addresses these topics. The questions below may spark some ideas regarding leadership, professional knowledge and ethical practice. You do not need to address all the questions; instead, write down your thoughts as they unfold.
Reflect on the following in your journal:

What is one prevalent issue in early childhood education today? Explain both sides of the debate regarding this issue.

What connections do you see between leadership, ethical practices, and professional knowledge regarding this debate?

How do you envision this issue impacting your future work with children?

Reflecting on the content presented in the case study, what are some areas where Mrs. Ashland faces adversity and must overcome challenges to meet the needs of her students and families? If you were facing similar challenges, how might you plan and proceed? Explain your thinking using justification, supporting details and critical thinking.

Carefully review the Grading Rubric for the criteria that will be used to evaluate your journal entries.

Develop three statements of commitment as to the types of professional development you plan to engage in over the next year. At least one of your resources for professional development should be online. For each commitment, include a rationale as to why you chose this particular type of professional development and how it will help you to continue to grow as an early childhood educator. This section should be one page in length.
Rationale: In this section you will need to look at each component of your portfolio. In three to four sentences, reflect as to how these components demonstrate mastery of one or more of the Program Comprehensive Exam Main Topics. Use your Reflective Journal Template while developing your rationale.
Reference Page: Using your textbook and at least five outside scholarly sources helps to strengthen your beliefs as an educational professional.

Your final project, including the 12 required components, should be submitted as a document that contains the hyperlink to your ePortfolio. You are encouraged to be professional and creative with your ePortfolio. The ePortfolio should address the material using college-level writing, critical thought, and APA formatting. In addition, it should include graphics, visuals, and media, as appropriate. Contents should be designed to clearly and concisely address the material with research justification.
