How would you choose between the different types of architecture that allow you to cover for redundancy, common access, and service to remote offices?

A JOSE JUAREZ
Hello class, I am leaning towards a server architecture for this topic and the reason I going that route is because of user access. Everything on the network would be located on central servers and could be accessed anywhere through the proper procedure and protocols. Wide area networks in effect for access though local/remote access where need be. Where all data is stored and the flexibility of connecting to that data. Yes, the cost of maintenance will be a part of the architecture and would rather have that then peer-to-peer architecture since each device on the network acts like a data access point. I just feel that is too messy, incase components are in service or problematic issues. Server architecture would have backups incase services are down and there is no interruption in productivity. Fault-tolerance strategies would be in implemented and mock-tested incase whenever a nature or God like scenarios occur, like backups, generators, power boxes, surge protectors, security/authentication, and proper data storge etiquette by company conduct.
B Sergio Garcia
What I have found is that it all depends on what specific location your business is at and what other locations would you need to have network access to. That would help to determine the type of architecture. They have to be able to have reliable systems and services and support enterprise-level redundancy. What I have found to be one very useful option is the mesh network. I mention the mesh network because it can be used in a wide range and has the ability to connect at long distances and provide great coverage. This would be beneficial in many companies due to the capability of being able to add or remove nodes from the network easily which is a connection point in a communication network.

In a hospital context, a failover connectivity plan is crucial. To put the strategy into action, there are numerous things to take into account. Organizational clarification is necessary for mission-critical applications and systems. Failure to do so could have disastrous effects. The ability to process payments is crucial for e-commerce. Some applications have a direct impact on patient safety and are equally, if not more, crucial. It is advisable to employ cloud platform providers to continuously monitor for vulnerabilities and make adjustments. Standards for cloud elements can be used to support compliance and security plans. Local servers can also be used, although doing so exposes the company to the possibility of hacking or other risky situations.
VPNs might be another aspect of the architecture to take into account. Executing a VPN can provide security benefits like obscuring your personal data, avoiding data and bandwidth restrictions, enabling network scalability, and—best of all—lowering support costs. When a firm uses websites and other programs that potentially monitor its behavior, a VPN can provide data encryption services. In the end, a VPN will safeguard your computer’s identity and privacy by preventing it from being decrypted and made accessible to any malicious hacker.
