In 2005, the factors affecting sports participation may not necessarily have the same degree of influence in 2011 as in that year. However, to obtain more accurate data, a shorter period should be chosen between the publication of the article to provide more useful data support to formulate future sport development measures better.

In general, these two articles have a high reference value for the government to promote grassroots sports construction in the future further. Although there are very meaningful opinions about mid-to large-scale elite events and sporting participation, small sports events can not be ignored as well; it can promote the development of grassroots sports participation.
