According to (Sen pg. 4), inclusion is a societal element that sees active participation by people, equal opportunities, and the general well-being levels of people.  The general definition of inclusion lies in the full participation of people in all aspects of life.

The main areas where inclusion is a major requirement are employment, poverty, and sustainable development. Looking at the solution to unemployment and poverty forms the basis for creating an inclusive society (Toit pg. 8).
