A Guide To Teaching And Learning Methods Ib History Essay Help

This is a reflection of my time in the labour and delivery ward. Since I believe Gibbs (1988) model of reflection is formal and follows basic measures, I have opted to use it. According to the Royal College of Nursing (2012), the Gibbs paradigm of contemplation is preferable because it emphasizes feelings. I intend to consider my opinions and emotions, enabling me to gain insight from my experience. I will keep my reflection anonymous by using pseudonyms and adhering to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code 2018.

A midwife approached me in the delivery suite and asked if I could accompany Amy to the ultrasound clinic. I was delighted to do so because I had not been assigned to any women at the moment. She self-presented to triage, documenting a 3-day history of decreased fetal activity, and I was taken aside and given an SBAR handover. Amy was a 37+3-week-pregnant primigravida with a limited command of the English language. There was no fetal heart rhythm found after multiple tests and a bedside USS. Amy’s USS was being done to confirm that she had died while still in the womb.

Once inside the USS space, the sonographer explained what she was going to do and that if she was silent, it was because she was gathering all of the necessary details. The sonographer told Amy after her test that no pulse could be identified on the scan. This was hospital protocol, so another sonographer was summoned to validate the IUD.

Since a translator could not be found, a student sonographer was called to assist. Amy was then informed of the results and advised that she would be taken to the labour ward’s bereavement suite. She began weeping hysterically and speaking in her native tongue. Amy then continued to blame the confidence for her baby’s suicide, which the student sonographer relayed to me.

I then continued to comfort Amy and provide help because she was alone. I requested a wheelchair and then moved Amy to the labour ward’s bereavement room. Amy was paired with a midwife who would look after her through her pregnancy.

This was my first brush with an IUD and bereavement in midwifery care, so I was taken aback. I couldn’t think of something to say to Amy to help her feel better. I was experiencing mixed feelings during the day since I had just delivered another boy, so it was bittersweet. I went to the bathroom and cried, which made me feel better; I then collected myself and went about my business as usual. I had a great deal of sympathy for Amy because she had no one to help her at the moment. My mind kept wandering to Amy and how alone she must have felt, speaking just a few words of English.

In this case, I did my best to stay calm and poised in the face of an unexpected event (NMC, 2015). I will never have shied away from this, and I am well aware that this is one of the most difficult aspects of being a midwife.

I believe I behaved in a manner that attempted to relieve and sustain Amy’s suffering. I’m proud of myself for being able to show Amy empathy and kindness. Empathy is still recognized as a critical function and factor in midwifery care; evidence has shown that empathy is essential when providing successful practice (Moloney et al., 2015).

Reviewing the RCOG (2010) recommendations, which specify that if a woman is alone, an urgent invitation to contact a husband, relative or acquaintance should be made. I believe I did everything I could to assist. I believe the contact was unsuccessful due to the language barrier; if the student was not there to translate, how would Amy comprehend what was going on? (REF). Why is communication important?

This horrific experience prompted me to reflect on and examine my work. This motivated me to stay current on policies and practices and follow the protocols developed to help prevent critical incidents (REF). Put a sentence about evidence-based practice…

According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS) (2020), the stillbirth rate in England and Wales declined from 4.0 per 1,000 total births in 2019 to 3.9 in the first three quarters of 2020 (January to September).

According to research, whether a woman is a non-English speaker, refugee, or asylum seeker, she has a higher chance of stillbirth or a bad pregnancy result (Kingdon et al., 2019).

Furthermore, MBRRACE UK (2015) found that only six of the twelve women listed who did not speak English had access to proper interpretation facilities during crucial sections of the treatment pathway. This could understand Woman A’s dissatisfaction with her assessment, which she said was due to a lack of contact (REF). This may have had an effect on the treatment and information she got during her pregnancy, as well as whether or not she knew it. Find a counter-argument?? That language is not the cause…

In midwifery, good communication skills are important (Nice, 2018). Both registrants must show competency in both verbal and written correspondence, according to the NMC (2015). In two-thirds of the cases examined, MBBRACE UK’s (2015) core results for communication found problems with inadequate communication and reporting. What cases/women were these????

Midwives and obstetricians should emphasize the relevance of fetal movements to women at each antenatal touch, according to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) (2011). According to the RCOG (2011) recommendations, women should be told that the kinds of movements they have can change as their pregnancy continues, but that the duration of these movements should not decrease.???? did woman A understand this???

The delay in women announcing a drop in fetal movements was a recurring feature in the panel’s inquiries. Woman A may appear to have never realized the value of tracking her baby’s movement because she refused to record RFM for three days. It could be argued that if she had realized what was going on, she would have called triage earlier.

Reflecting on this situation has been extremely beneficial to my learning and growth. It has allowed me to reflect on and be reminded of the NMC code, which I follow: responsibilities, transparency, and collaboration. My goal is to learn effectively to keep my experience and expertise up to date for healthy and efficient practice.

This incident prompted me to examine my own experience of antenatal treatment. One benefit is that I now have a better understanding of the IUD process and management.

While I am not aware of all of Woman A’s allegations, I am aware of the importance of tracking fetal symphysis height and emphasizing the importance of fetal movements to women and recording and acting on any deviations from the standard.

This was a very tragic event that occurred on that very day. I overcame my feelings and not let them impair my job for the rest of the day. I will still ensure that all women get high-quality treatment.

Action plan

I also decided to make it my responsibility to learn about the IUD process and management after it was approved.

If the case happened again, I’m sure that I’d be engaged with a woman who had experienced a miscarriage. It has given me more trust because I now appreciate the management and resources available during the postpartum and intrapartum periods.

Besides, having time with the bereavement midwife was part of my action plan, and I believe it would broaden my knowledge base. I want to do more research on IUDs to stillbirths and make sure I’m up to speed on policies and procedures.

The Reformation to industrial revolution history assignment help australia: history assignment help australia

Reformation traced back to the 16th century. It refers to the instances where the Church of England was alienated from the governance of the pope and activities carried by the Roman Catholic Church. The activities were the results linked to the wide course of the protestant reformation. Protestantism was a reform based on political and religious affairs that altered Christianity’s practice in the region covering central and Western Europe. The discovery of the printing press increased the Bible’s movement, and interaction among scholars who shared ideas were the causes for reformation (Hill, 1535).

The Church of England

The church is the recognized Church of England serving a community of Christians. It traces its origin to the Christian church in Britain between the 3rd century and the 6th century, categorized by leaders like the Gregorian mission, Kent, and St. Augustine. There are two ways of describing the church as reformed and catholic; it is catholic in a sense that; it considers itself a form of universal union of Jesus Christ as a continuity of the initial apostolic church (Claydon, 1785). The emphasis on the early church fathers’ principles depicted the catholic elements as noted in apostles, Nicene, and Athanasians creed. It is reformed in the image that it follows the guidelines provided by Protestantism which advocated for the thirty-nine articles of religion and the Book of Common Prayer.

English has been used as the language of the liturgy after the English reformation. Anglo-catholic, broad church, and the evangelical strand form the church. Theological conservatism finds it difficult to agree on matters concerning homosexuality and the overall ordination of women. Governance in the church is based on the diocese, presiding by a bishop further subdivided into parishes.

Development of the Church

Tradition traces Christianity in Britain back to the 1st and the 2nd century when southern Britain served as a part of the Roman Empire. According to Hill (1535), early Christianity among the natives of Briton is found on the remains of writings left by groups of early fathers known as the Tertullian and Origen. They lived in the first years of the 3rd century. Moreover, more evidence like the 4th century Christian fathers provided references for the church in Roman Britain. Christianity, having established as Britons’ religion in the Anglo-Saxon invasion period, there was a little conversion of the pagans made by the Christian Britons. Augustine established the first church with the help of Christians residing in Kent, Canterbury, and the capital of the kingdom of Kent.

Separation from Rome

King Henry VIII detached the English Church from Rome (Price et al., 12). Afterward, theological separation has been the main concern overshadowing numerous movements covering the main church like the Lollardy. Major influence came when Henry VIII provided political following his ambition following his marriage’s invalidation to Catherine of Aragon to Anne Boleyn. King Henry VIII oversaw the dissolution of the monasteries that had power over the vast richest land. According to Price et al. (12), the dissolution disbanded priories, convents, monasteries, and friaries, controlled their resources, destroyed their assets, and further used their pensions to pay the former residence. Henry maintained a strong adherence to catholic traditions where reformers could not make a huge impact on the Church of England.

Under the rule of the son, King Edward VI, more doctrinal reforms took place, and the 42 articles were shortened to 39. The reformation declined following the death of the king. Queen Mary, I succeeded leadership and returned to England to the papacy administration, thus brought to halt any attempts to the independent Church of England (Hill, 1535). A period characterized by the Marian martyrs who were defiant considering their reformed faith. Eriksson & Ronneby (105) explained that the queen’s laws aligned the catholic faith as they stipulated by ecumenical councils, Latin and Greek doctrinal influence, and the church’s fathers. An inward look to the church of England would show that it less the same organization as the catholic fragmentation, only that it had a modified face to the world. It lacked a particular vice of its own until Stuarts’ reign, where Protestantism, Anglicanism, and Catholicism each took their form.

Stuart Period

Significant back and forth actions made by King James I and King Charles I’s reign I sired two fronts; one that advocated for reforms and another whose concern was to retain some traditions, beliefs, and practices performed by the catholic (Claydon, 1785). Puritan demands were that the church was to undergo farfetched reforms against the Old Catholic traditions’ traditions (Keenan, 630). The failure of religious and political authorities to support those agendas was the cause of open wars. The heat of the warfare was not high as it was mainly political, although there was the loss of lives, including King Charles I. Later on, the parliament restored the Church of England to a structure not much different from the Elizabethan version under Charles II’s restoration. It abandoned the idea that all the people of England had to respect one form of religion. According to Hill (1535), England’s religious scope assumed its present form in that situation. It broke into Anglican Church and puritans and a group of Protestants who branched from the pro- Anglicans having to regroup outside the national church without seeking power over it.

Overseas Developments

As they were looking for offshore supremacy overpower, British Empire and colonial administration took with them church ministries and introduced the Church of England’s practices to the indigenous people (Ford 35). Instances like the United States of America served as separate organizations but were linked by the Anglican Communion to the mother church. Similar occurrences happened to other places of the world like Bermuda and Nigeria. However, a rival group of missionaries introducing new ideologies lowered the growth that had started to be shown by Africa’s Anglican churches.

Doctrine and Practice

According to Hill (1535), the canon law related to the scriptures is the teaching source. Additionally, teachings were also derived from the church fathers’ experiences and ecumenical council in areas where those instances were relatable to the scriptures. It is in this doctrine that governed the rites of acknowledgment of deacons, priests, and bishops. However, the church lacks a single theologian, which it can exclude from the early population as its founder. The Church of England’s character and structure are largely dictated by the result of the Elizabethan Settlement. The monarchial influence and papacy control provided a shelter over the Lutheran and other reformist positions on the apostolic order, sacraments, creed, and the Bible, which constrained doctrinal reformation of the time (Price et al., 12).

Worship and Liturgy

According to Hill (1535), the Book of Common Prayer is the official reference to England’s liturgy Church. The further publication has been done over the years and agreed to offer supportive information for church use. These publications include the liturgical book common worship and the alternative service book. Liturgical procedures are arranged about the traditional liturgical year and calendar of saints. Much consideration also depicted the sacrament of baptism and Eucharist’s administration as of great importance to the demonstration of salvation. Moreover, the Church of England also used hymns and music, which dramatically changed over the decades. According to Claydon (1785), alterations have impacted these practices over the decades, following charismatic movements interfering with the evangelical procedures.

Women’s Ministry

In the 16th century, women were appointed as deaconesses, although they could not fully act as appointed deacons. This is because they were not considered as ordained clergy. Later in 1986, legislation was passed to authorize the ordination of women as deacons. In the period between (1992-2010), for the first time sought the ordination of women as priests surpassed males but later exceeded by men later in the course. Gradually, the synod approved for the ordainment of women as bishops. Dame Sarah Mullaly was consecrated as the first woman to act as London’s bishop (Hill, 1535).

The invention of the printing press and the emergence of scholars led to the events of reformation. Majorly, these groups were against the Roman Catholic Church’s major practices that didn’t seem to agree with these scholars’ ideologies. Massive production of print materials and the Bible was circulated among the rest of the population, which made transmission of knowledge and exchange of ideas generally shared. Changes in governance also gave room for public opinion, which brought some changes in the various institutions. One of these events’ results was the emergence of the Church of England, which has undergone structural modifications over the decades.

Hill, Christopher. Reformation to industrial revolution: 1530-1780. Verso Books, Reprint Edition September 25, 2018.

Mass production of print media and the knowledge gained from the reading of the Bible led to the rise of debates among the early scholars questioning the practice of the Roman Catholic Church and the pope’s activities. In the book reformation to the industrial revolution, the author, Christopher Hill, has discussed how martin Luther and reformists advocated for the various reforms that resulted in the Church of England’s formation.  Reformists used the advantage of public opinion to insight the rest of the population to question the creeds, papacy sacraments, and indulgences that the catholic perceived to some extent to be the forgiveness of sins. The outburst of these events forced the emergence of the Church of England. However, as discussed by Christopher hill, the church did not under complete reformation due to the monarch’s huge influence, who still praised the traditions of the catholic faith. It was until the 19th century that Anglican and Protestantism, and Catholicism seemed to exist without each trying to control the other.

Regulatory compliance in health care industries african history assignment help

Regulatory compliance in health care industries

Besides the earlier security goals, certain companies have particular regulations or standards to comply with to stay in that workplace. Regulatory compliance is a business’s adherence to regulations, specifications, laws, and guidelines relevant to its business procedures. When regulatory compliance is violated, they result in lawful punishment with the federal lines. Examples of regulatory compliance regulations and laws include HIPAA, PCI DSS- compliance, and SOX. As the number of rules has enlarged since the turn of the century, regulatory compliance management has become more prominent in various workplaces (WHIPPLE & OSBORN-HARRISON, 2015).

Regulatory compliance procedures and strategies offer guidance for businesses as they strive to attain their workplace goals. In some of the organizations across the country,  compliance is more heavily regulated than in other organizations. For instance, the industries which deal with financial functions are subjected to regulatory compliance mandates that have been designed to protect the investors and public from the nefarious organization practice. I consider healthcare companies as a particular industry of my choice. Below I have discussed relevant regulations or standards that the industry must comply with to stay in business.

Healthcare industries are subjected to strict compliance regulations because they store large amounts of personal and sensitive patient information. Hospitals and other healthcare workers must reveal that they have taken stages in complying with patients’ privacy regulations, such as offering adequate server encryption and security. HIPAA outlines security mandates and data privacy designed in securing patients’ medical data. The HIPAA Breach Notification Rule, for instance, needs compliant businesses and their organization associates in notifying patients following a data breach. In addition to that, healthcare providers, CSPs (Cloud Service Providers), and other organization associates of health care industries must also comply with the HIPAA breach notification regulations, privacy, and security (Weinberg, 2015).

THE MAJOR CAUSES OF AIR POLLUTION history assignment help: history assignment help

Los Angeles is one of the air polluted cities in the U.S. despite the amendments of 1990 to the act of clean air. The primary causes of air pollution in Los Angeles are motor vehicles, industries, and diesel engines, which pollute the atmosphere by burning fossil fuels. The city has been hit with the severe consequences of air pollution. The environmental disasters that have hit the city due to air pollution include the smog effect, wildfires, and acid that have left devastating results. Adopting renewable energy in Los Angeles will help solve many problems that are brought about by air pollution. Some benefits of renewable energy adoption are the reduction of smog effect in the city, the reduction of daily greenhouse gases emission, improvement of air quality, increased rain and fog frequency, and others. Wildfires are another disaster known to hit Los Angeles recently, sending huge smoke to the city. Renewable energy is clean energy that is said to be eco-friendly. Thus, it has negligible or no air pollution. How Will it help Los Angeles solve the issue of air pollution that has already rocked the city.

Adopting renewable energy could contribute to air quality in the county of Los Angeles. The use of fossil fuels has a significant environmental effect both short and long-term. Greenhouse gas acquisition adds to climatical change that can compromise air quality significantly. Both short-term and long-term air pollution issues can be solved with renewable energies. Los Angeles will increase the air quality and eventually reverse climate change by converting to solar, wind, and other renewable energies.

Renewable can help lower the levels of Aeroallergens. Aeroallergens are inhalants that include pollens, spores as well as other biologically or non-biological air pollutants which may cause allergic problems. The local air condition can be as poor as dark carbon as well as other pollutants emitted as particles such as aerosols such as rugged pollen from fossil fuel burning. Research has shown that these issues could be made worse by increasing pollen seasons and the growth of pollen production plants caused by fossil fuels. The effects of climate change in Los Angeles could make some of its parts less viable for anyone, particularly those with allergies. With renewables, these more efficient pollen seasons can be prevented, and the severe air pollution impacts can be avoided. Adopting renewables will also lead to a significant and fast change by reducing fossil fuel-burning energy particles instantly. Fine particulates such as black carbon and other contaminants made of fossil fuels may have significant health effects. Switching into non-polluting clean energy sources, including solar and wind energy, will affect air quality almost immediately when these particles’ output is halted. Whereas renewables such as biomass and geothermal emissions release air contaminants, they are far lower than coal and gas plants.

The energy from renewable source will help in preventing the stagnation of things. Not only do particulate pollutants affect air quality directly. They have contributed over time to global warming and can make air pollution worse during cooler summers. Recent climate modeling shows that stagnation events in high summer temperatures can raise dense hot air spots, collecting and locking pollutants from underneath the atmosphere. The slowdown of renewable climate change would help prevent deflation by decreasing the probable impacts of both ozone and additional pollution emissions.

In an attempt to reduce emissions of ozone, renewable energy can help. Another pollutant that will significantly adversely affect air quality as an essential chemical precursor to ozone would be generated by the combustion of fossil fuels. When the Air Quality Index is calculated, scientists use the air Quality Test technology for small particulate matter and other pollutants, such as personal air monitors or summa canisters, which have critical health consequences. Researchers are frequently looking for ozone levels, similar to black carbon, due to significant health problems that pollutants can cause, such as lung damage, illnesses, and persistent blockage (COPD). Including renewables that may help decrease the emission of black carbon can also help reduce nitrogen oxide production and the air ozone level.

Adoption of renewable energy will result to more often fog as well as rain. The mist and the rain are renowned in particular for removing pollutants from the air and “clear” the air. Climate change has shown that the extender has a reduction in fog and noticeable environmental damage from the outside. Preventing the worst temperature changes will help reverse this fog loss, which will lead to a cleaner sky in the longer term.

The energy from a renewable source will help reduce the smog effect in the city. Air pollution has resulted in the severe consequence of the Smog effect, also known as the beret effect if there’s a dense cloud concentrated around the city. A photochemical smog, typical smog experienced In Los Angeles, poses a health danger to Los Angeles’s city dwellers.

Renewable energy as a source of energy will help reduce the burning of fossil fuels. Burning fossil fuels such as fuel oil by vehicles produce hazardous and course air pollution. Replacement of these non-renewable energies with renewable energy will reduce the rate of harmful gas emissions, combined with water to form acid rain. The consumption of fossil fuel oil on Los Angeles city machinery would be decreased by renewable energy. In Los Angeles, passenger cars, factories, and diesel motors are some of the main sources of pollution of air.

The article from the public health of Los Angeles county answers how to tell how in the outside clean air is. The author of the article explains that the cleanness of the air can not be said by visibility only. Visibility can only tell the level of particular air pollutants, and it does not provide an entire image of how quality the air is.  AQI, which was created by the U.S. agency on Environmental protection, is used to indicate the quality of air. The AQI has index values that run between zero and 500; it is divided into six sections. The author reviews a few scenarios, such as the visibility, which helps tell pollutants types present in the air. The article contains links to connect with other related articles.

executive summary

The following recommendation report will help provide solutions that resolve and manage conflicts ensuing from Optimum Wave Developments in its acquirement of a much smaller software company and is demanding relocation of members, ensuring the coherence among team members well as maintaining the 1Latte. Additionally, this report aims to provide the reader with information that helps them get acquainted with the continuing development of 1Latte. It also entails the background information and target audience of the App and also its functions and features. After the reader is familiar with this information, they will be introduced to the conflicts that may result from membership of the new Son Jose Members. Aside from highlighting the conflicts, the reader will be provided with possible avenues or solutions to ensure a smooth transition. After understanding this integration, the reader will be able to find action steps that will help them establish a paradigm for the company’s outcome and programs success.

The 1Latte application contemplates joining the fierce social media battleground with aspirations to replace Facebook and YouTube using a commiseration to provide features that are readily for its users. The mobile application is far from becoming available; however, with some more IT experienced developers, it can be achieved sooner than expected. The App’s most significant thing is that it can be accessed by individuals who have not subscribed and don’t need any registration for sending messages using the App. Additionally, the 1Latte App is designed to access it quickly and don’t require any education or training on how to use the software.

This project aims to supersede and ultimately change the dogma of social media platforms such as Facebook and YouTube for a social networking forum that checks in and controls posts’ plausibility, among other things. As a result of there being a service fee, the content shown to users can be filtered to their liking rather than the highest bid controlling the information on users’ screens. The application is designed to have an increased security level that protects user data and never intends to hold the data for ransom purposes should the user decide to Part Company with the organization. The only difficulty that the App is facing is that there will not be any other application available to use; the information can only be accessed through web browsing. The developers hope that with time they can make the App available on all electronic devices and gadgets.

A large audience for this App would be individuals who run their businesses and looking for networking opportunities, marketers who are looking to advertise or business managers looking to network with other businesses. The audience that the App is targeting to serve is individuals whose age is ranging from 18-45 years. Additionally, 1Lattes’ target audience consists of social media platform users who consider our competitor’s platforms to display too many ads and find those advertisements irrelevant to their wants or needs. A report generated by claims an estimated 2.95 billion people use social media worldwide and predicts an increase to almost 3.43 billion by 2023(Clement, 2020a). Of those users, another report claims nearly 3 out of every four users (74%) think there are too many ads. The numbers increase to 78% for adults 35+ years old. 44% of users find the ads irrelevant, which increases for those 35 and older to 51% (Gitlin, n.d). The most concentrated global region of users include India first, the United States second, Indonesia third, and Brazil fourth (Clement, 2020b), and we have identified our market to include users who have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, in the age ranges of 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, and 55-64. The demographic regions identified also consist of those who exhibit the cultural values of individualism and collectivism.

1Latte is a software application that allows users to engage in social media to acquire new information relevant to their preferences from sources stratified by trustworthiness using a ranking system consisting solely of its members. It provides the user with the ability to share information with other members and the ones they prefer. Additionally, the App allows its users to keep up with current social issues and news updates and ongoing trends. The 1Latte ensures that it has designed data access to download, monitor and clear their data. The Data access allows users to access any data of their choice that they have either created or downloaded from the App.

The 1Lattes most unique feature as a messaging platform allows individuals who are not subscribers to view and receive messages and decipher the messages. It also has a feature that allows its users to choose their target audience. In terms of openness theme, the 1Latte will allow its users to create their distinct content filters and use the filters that already exist or choose not to use filters at all.  The content filters are meant to enable users to control the information provided on the platform directly. It has a feature known as the walled garden phenomena that allow the 1Latte application to be web-based before its actual transition to mobile devices. The label also protects its users from advertisements that pop up, though it only does this after paying a monthly fee of $2.95. It can achieve this by distinctively labelling all advertisements.

According to (Danila Petrova, 2019), when multiple individuals work on the same project, it creates friction and conflicts between colleagues.  Part of the conflicts in Optimum Development Management revolves around change management and communication conflicts.  In this particular case, the communication was wrong as the members felt threatened to lose their jobs if they did not accept relocating to Raleigh. There is also a lack of communication since the manager was not appropriately informed or consulted about the team being brought. There seems to be a conflict in the managerial position where the company plans to hire a new team without informing the manager. There is also a conflict of interest where the goals, roles and interdependencies of the project are not clear. Additionally, the case scenario also brings out Associative interpretation conflict where verbal communication acts are perceived or understood differently (Danila Petrova, 2019).

Conflict Resolution

Conflict resolution demands that you first understand the complexity of conflict at hand by digging into the conflicts deep structure. Additionally, it is essential to understand that managers’ choice of conflict resolution skills in their organization is based on the types of conflicts they face (Nordby, 2018). Conflict resolution can have different approaches, which include: defining the origin or source of the conflict, looking beyond the conflict of interest at hand, requesting for solution or views from the part involved, identifying solutions and ultimately coming to an agreement. This conflict can be solved by first giving sound communication management to the organization’s management and respecting other employee differences. Another way to solve this problem includes Leveraging communication resources to deal with the poor communication and miscommunication that is taking place in the company.

Action Steps

The first action that I recommend for the manager should be first to inquire, listen, and ask questions concerning the conflict ongoing between the two parties.  This is because the manager’s information is partly generated from rumours or rather allegations that may be false or half true. The second role will include the manager acting as the mediator, which involves working collaboratively with the employees and look for means to peacefully solving the conflict. The manager needs to avoid following assumptions or rumours (Nordby, 2018).  The next step would be creating a safe space, meeting with the team, and setting explicit norms and expectations. I  recommend that the manager peacefully inquires from the head of their department regarding the possible changes that seem to be taking place without their knowledge.

The development and launching of the 1Latte program and its success depend on the agreement that is established as a result of the conflict resolution at hand. The manager should believe in their capability to work with an older team compared to her current team. Keeping in mind that the App aims to win audiences tied to using other social media platforms will require the team to work together and bring out the apps’ unique features to attain its success.
