#1 Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is a systematic, didactic, and goal-oriented therapy. The method is hands-on and practical, involving a joint effort between the patient and the therapist to alter thought and behavior patterns to improve the patient’s mood and way of life. For a variety of mental health conditions, CBT is a reliable and effective type of psychological therapy. When compared to medicine alone, CBT has been found to offer more significant advantages or similar results (Chand et al., 2022).

Individual therapy aims to help patients face their concerns and learn how to become more fully themselves. Treatment can and should focus on the individual and his or her unique characteristics. Individual counseling may be beneficial when people discover a trait about themselves that they have attempted in vain to alter while their social environment is stable. The therapist focuses on one client, making it easier to maintain privacy (Nichols & Davis, 2019).

The goal of the family therapy framework is to alter the family structure. The therapist thinks that external factors are where the dominating ones are located. Every family member impacts how the family changes; thus, when a family group changes, everyone in the family is also changed. Family therapy impacts every family member, which can lead to long-lasting change because each person changes and continues to influence the other members of the family. Both individual and family therapies provide a treatment method and a means of comprehending how people behave (Nichols & Davis, 2019).

Group therapy is the simultaneous treatment of several patients by one or more healthcare professionals. Participants in group treatment sessions should have similar conditions. Moreover, letting other patients understand that their symptoms are not exceptional and that others experience comparable emotions. This issue is resolved by group therapy since it enables the simultaneous treatment of numerous patients. The outcomes of group therapy are behavior modifications, developing interpersonal and relationship skills, education, implementing preventative measures and coping mechanisms, and eventually returning to normal functioning in society. These outcomes are applied to the patient’s life outside of the group. Participant sharing can enhance one’s sense of worth (Malhotra & Baker, 2022). Group therapy seeks to increase social functioning, better adaptability, and interpersonal connection skills and reduce symptoms, including negative symptoms and low motivation (Ezhumalai et al., 2018).

Lack of interest or participation is one of the problems that PMHNP may encounter when utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) in a group environment. For instance, if a member appears disinterested or is not participating, the provider should step in and inquire as to why. It might be a result of shyness. Patient confidentiality may present another difficulty. Patients’ mental health may suffer as they strive to participate while keeping their confidentiality; for instance, some patients may feel uncomfortable disclosing precise details out of concern that someone would repeat them. Providers should create a set of confidentiality/sharing rules that the group agrees upon to lessen this conflict, and members should be informed of the boundaries of confidentiality before the first session (Malhotra & Baker, 2022).

The supporting sources are scholarly because academics and other experts prepared them, are based on reliable facts, and have undergone peer review. There is a bibliography or list of references, content, discussion, Etc., and a listing of the authors and their credentials.

#2 Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: Comparing Group, Family and

Individual Settings

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is used frequently in both individual and group psychotherapy environments. It is based on the belief that one’s psychological health is dependent upon how well a person can adapt positively, both in cognition and function, in order to change environmental situations or conditions. The goal of a CBT therapist is to assist with this process so that the patient is able to observe, evaluate, monitor, and adapt to his or her problematic views when dealing with life’s responsibilities and challenges (Wheeler, 2022). All of the research studies and articles referenced in this paper are scholarly as evidenced by the peer review status, research methods, and validity.

One study discusses the importance of a clinician’s thorough and competent understanding of adherence to treatment protocols and how they are delivered, as well as the need for rigorous assessment. Without these crucial understandings and interventions, the effectiveness of CBT can be compromised. This is especially true for individual psychotherapy, and the study references children with similar results in the adult population (Rapley & Loades, 2018). Individual group therapy can be effective for first those first entering therapy as well. A group may seem overwhelming to open up to at first, and may be more suited for things such as depression and anxiety. Individual CBT sessions can allow for an individual to form that initial bond and trust with his or her PMHNP (Wheeler, 2022).

CBT used in group therapy are very effective in treating substance use related disorders, depression, and PTSD or trauma-related disorders. Studies indicate that the therapeutic alliance that is built between group members and the leader/co-leaders or therapist of the group is greater and there is also an alliance formed within the group members themselves. This alliance provides support, trust, validation, and inclusion or the feeling that “I am not alone”. While individual CBT psychotherapy can also result in a healthy alliance between the patient and the clinician, the positive outcomes and efficacy seems to be lower in these instances (Alldredge et al., 2021).

PMHNPs can face some challenges when it comes to providing cognitive behavioral therapy. Some of the most common and recent factors is the lack of available providers to meet mental health needs. Another issue is the need for integrated care, especially for issues such as substance abuse disorders, and how it relates to the shortage of providers (Abram, White, & Jacobowitz, 2020). Another rather recent sometimes perceived barrier is the abundance of psychotherapy being done via telehealth. While this can offer convenience for both providers and patients, it can also serve as a barrier in relation to forming a true and trusting alliance as mentioned earlier. It can also be an issue for the PMHNP in that they are not able to physically and personally assess the patient. Mental health assessments can be much more difficult to perform over a video screen as opposed to in person. With COVID-19, this clinicians have had to adjust and adapt to the changing ways of psychotherapy such as CBT. The study that references this information discusses that efficacy (as researched thus far) of CBT treatment seems to be overall good. Of notable reference is attendance to both individual and group therapies as well as adherence to CBT protocols and tools (Weinberg, 2020).

Appealing To People’s Emotions Aqa Unit 5 Biology Synoptic Essay Help

Description
Subject: Drug Addiction I don’t know how drug addiction got to be such a problem but it has really fucked up the lives of so many friends like Jill and Travis. Maybe it’s because there is nothing to do in the town where we live and maybe we glorify notorious drug users. I like Lil’ Wayne but he drinks cough syrup unapologetically not to mention Kurt Cobain, Lou Reed, and others. Yeah, rappers used to rap about smoking weed and maybe some about selling drugs but now Xanax and codeine cough syrup, fentanyl, and other hard drugs have been promoted in some rap lyrics. Not to mention moves like Trainspotting and TV shows like Euphoria. I think it is so easy to get drugs too when you think of prescriptions given out. Many of the people I know who got into drugs played sports in high school and got Vicodin to cope with pain from an injury. For those who enjoyed the sensation it was easy to find such things on the black-market. People say weed is a gateway drug but I feel like other things like alcohol might come before weed. I mentioned Jill who I see strung out around town often. She has lost the trust and respect of her friends and hurl her mom and twin sister so bad. Drug addiction affects not only those who suffer from it but people close to them and the community at large. One thing that happens is a political problem because people often feel differently about how to treat those who suffer from addiction and this can create tension and disagreement among the town that can in turn be exasperated by other things. I don’t know what the solutions are but I think having more things for kids to do would help. I also feel like more street outreach and treatment centers can help get people ready for recovery more quickly. We also have to look at drugs for what they are and not what celebrities and the media want to portray them as

Comparison of 3 Ancient Cultures free essay help

Description
I will upload the sources you must use for this assignment.  In about a 750 to 1000-word paper, please discuss the leaders/heroes from three of the following cultures: 1.    Later Mesopotamian Hammurabi AND Gilgamesh 2.    Persian Cyrus* 3.    Mandate of Heaven AND Chinese Duke of Zhou Why did each believe they had the right to rule?  In other words, who gave them the right to rule (usually a god)?  How did they rule?  How are both of these points reflective of the larger culture?  What can we learn from each culture because of their perceived heroism?  Use only the sources from class and our discussion and please use only short quotes.  (I realize there are many secondary sources.  I just don’t want outside sources.)  With Hammurabi, use both the Hammurabi Code and Gilgamesh to discuss rulers and heroes in Mesopotamia.  For early Greece, please use both Theseus and the Minotaur and our summary of the Iliad (though you may pick and choose which heroes to feature).  For Abram, David, and Solomon, please use the stories from the Jewish heroes assignment, .  For Cyrus of Persia, please refer to his charter.  For the Duke of Zhou, please look at the mandate from heaven and his succession source.  No other sources are needed.  Please deal with each hero separately as opposed to dealing with similarities and differences. You may compare but the emphasis should be on answering the above questions through analysis of the sources.  Do not worry about footnotes or endnotes.  And no MLA parenthetical referencing please.  Using outside sources is not allowed.  Copying outside sources is plagiarism (even if paraphrased) and will  greatly affect your grade.  1.    When writing your essay, organize it by including the following three parts: the introduction, the body, and the conclusion. 2.    The introduction should include a thesis statement which tells the reader exactly what you intend to discuss and which outlines the general argument you will make in your paper. This is the most important part of the essay.  A well-defined thesis statement which is then explained in the body of your essay equals a good paper. 3.    The body is a presentation of evidence completed in an organized fashion. You must prove your point through evidence.  Don’t just include quotations.  Take the time to explain why you chose this particular piece of evidence and how it ties into the bigger picture.  To present an organized argument, be sure to include topic sentences for each paragraph which tie into your thesis statement. 4.    The conclusion is where you summarize your argument.   1.    Since this paper is short, please do not include quotations that are longer than two to three lines. Be sure to give credit to the source of the quotation or idea by including a reference within the body.  For example, “As can be seen in “Hammurabi’s Code,…”  Please do not use parentheses to cite the source (that is MLA format and not used in history courses) or footnotes or endnotes.  (This is called Chicago style and is used in history courses.  However it is unnecessary here as sources used have been assigned by the instructor.) The paper should be typed with 1″ margins. A cover sheet is optional but the following information should be included: 1. the title of your paper your name the date

Is there a coherent train of thought that runs through the proposal from beginning to end? Is the structure of the proposal apparent and lucid? Do the parts fit together? Are the transitions from one part of the proposal to another clear and helpful? Are the ethical considerations clear and acceptable? Is the proposal well written? Does the author guide you through the work? From, Kilbourne, B. (2006). The Qualitative Dissertation Proposal. Teachers College Record Volume 108(4),  pp. 529–576.

Play Critique on Hamilton best essay help: best essay help

Description
Play Critique Lesson The Format and Instructions in your textbook is simply a guide, not something that has to be followed point by point. The book says that you must make a statement about the effectiveness of 2 production elements, ignore that. I require you to cover at least 3 the production elements on pages 24 and 25. You may cover all the elements if you would like: Acting, Directing, Set Design/Scenic Elements, Lighting, Costumes. You may also cover other production elements, Singing, Dancing, Choreography, Sound, Props, Etc. Thoroughly read pages 22-25 before attending a play, and again before writing your critique Title Page: Please include a title page that states your name, when and where you saw the play, and the word count of your document. Please also include at the end of your paper:  Your picture ID (This can be your Student ID or Driver’s License- please darken your Student ID number or Driver’s License number for your safety) with program, ticket stub or photo of you at the theatre (if they do not provide ticket or program). Play Attendance & Critique:  The play critique must be at least 1,500 words (For format and guidelines refer to pages 22-25)  Please also follow what is asked for in this Lesson Plan as there are some required elements for online learning. In almost all cases, when attending a play, you will be given a ticket stub and a play program. You must scan them or take a photo of them and insert the photo into your critique. You must also include your photo ID in the scan or photo. Your SCF ID is probably best. Critiques without a scan or photo of the ticket stub, program and ID (as a single scan or photo) inserted onto the end of the critique will be given the grade of zero.  Some theatres, like the URBANITE in downtown Sarasota, do not give programs, nor have traditional tickets. At such a theatre, a selfie that clearly shows yourself inside the theatre will suffice in lieu of the program and ticket stub. That selfie needs to show you inside the theatre with something in the background that indicates you were there. Take this selfie before, at intermission, or after the show. DO NOT take it during the show. (Note, the Urbanite offers very inexpensive student tickets) Please look at the uploaded file with this page to see example of how to put your picture ID and ticket stub into the body of your paper. Plays attended MUST be either college, professional or community theatre productions. ONLY 1 MUSICAL IS PERMITTED. If any student has doubt regarding the appropriateness of a certain production, ask the instructor BEFORE attending. ANY full-length play at any college, professional or community theatre is acceptable. You only need ask if the play doesn’t fit that description. Critiques must be submitted electronically, to the assignment drop box in Canvas. Paper copies and/or emailed copies will not be accepted. No assignments in this class will be accepted via email.  Use NO source material!!  This is your critique/analysis of the performance. If you are found using outside sources to write your analysis you will receive a 0 for the assignment. All written assignments in this class are checked using Turnitin, an anti-plagiarism web service. In general, the breakdown of the paper should be: (Please follow this breakdown) Introduction Identify the goal of the play*        Overall impression of the play (These above 3 items should collectively be between 15% and 20% of your critique) Summary of Plot. (This should be no more than 30% of you critique) Format, Spelling, and Grammar Production Elements – 3 required (Acting, Directing, Set Design, Lighting and Costumes)  (This should be the largest portion of your paper / 30-35%) Conclusion (at least 50 Words) Please restate the goal of the play and if it was achieved) I am looking for YOUR opinion and analysis of the play. There are no right and wrong answers when it comes to your opinion and analysis. The only thing you can really do wrong is to not analyze the play (see bottom of page 23).  The three biggest mistakes that students make are: 1-write too much about the storyline (plot) and too little on production elements. 2-not write 1,500 words. 3-not have an opinion *The goal of a play is what the audience is supposed to learn or take away from the performance. The goal of most plays is something deeper than “The goal was to entertain the audience” or “The goal was to make you laugh”.  Although, for some comedies and some musicals, the goal might be able to be summed up so succinctly. Even in those cases, you could explain why you think the goal was that simple.

Assignment On Platonic forms “essay help” site:edu

Description
Are Platonic Forms real? How do you know? In answering this question, summarize Plato’s Forms in your own words and use some examples to illustrate them. Be sure to include the eternal nature of the Forms. For Plato each and every Form has existed forever. That means a Platonic Form of any object you see today has always existed. A Platonic Form of the cell phone, for instance, exists eternally as the ideal form of communication, which your cell phone is only an imperfect image of. To help us understand the theory, Plato wrote a story called “The Allegory of the Cave.” Objects in the cave symbolize imperfect copies of the Platonic Forms that exist above the cave in the sunlight. Interestingly, the person who learns about the Forms in the story must be reluctantly dragged out of the cave to the world of Platonic Forms. What does Plato mean by all this? Please give your thoughts on Plato’s Forms and his Allegory of the Cave in an initial post of 150 words or more. Then please respond to these 3 posts(In files) and constructively critique the views and response of your classmates in at least 50 words per post.

writing personal statements for US universities nursing essay help

Description
i have finished writing my essay, but because i do not a native english friend and have no experience in writing personal statements for US universities, i needed someone to proofread them. i would be very garteful if you could correct the mistakes and show the wrong or hard-to-understand parts. i would also love to know your opinion about the grade of my essays.
WHY POLICY? WHY HARRIS?
It has always been very hard for me to decide what to choose, however, whatever I chose, I could not stand being the second. I have finished boarding school and academic lyceum with highest GPA, and still have the highest grades in the department. Nevertheless, even starting my first university year, I never knew who I want to be.
During the university years, I learned and discussed a lot about international relations, conflicts, global issues but never felt them for real.  When I came back to my little town where minority group lives, I rediscovered the life of simple people. Talking to my friends back from elementary school, to my relatives going to work in foreign countries to feed their families, I felt so weak. In many parts of the country, people do not know their basic rights, fooled and discriminated by government officials. This was the fact that shocked me. During my internship in one of the political parties of Uzbekistan, I realized how they are far from the reality and process-focused rather than results, and this was the case with many public organizations.   At that moment, I understood whom I want to be and every challenge, and failure that followed me through these years brought me to this point and I have never been so sure about my decision. I believe that my future is about giving people chance to live a better life, fight against injustice in societies and reshape the world.
I was impressed by the diversity of your community and the faculty members with real experience in NGOs and humanitarian actions and publications regarding the core problems that many politicians ignore. I really believe that Harris could be a great place for me to learn from the best and make a change in my community.

The biggest challenge you have ever faced.
I remember the last day of the submission of memorials to Jessup moot court competition, each consisting of more than ten thousand words: right after the classes at university I sat in front of my computer and spent more than twelve hours with no rest and eating. My hands started to tremble, whole body shook, eyes flushed. It was the four month of hard work and researching.
It was the first time ever, when my university was participating in this simulation. I had to walk through every auditorium, announce and gather team members. Members started to leave and ignore calls seeing the load of the work and we lost the coaches. I took matters into my hands and started the preparation with only minimum number of participants and had to get most of the questions and help with their researches by periodically revising and correcting, with no proper experience and only having one-semester-international-law course. During the whole period, I was away in Russia as an exchange student and it was quite a challenge to follow their work.
After all, from all three new teams we were the only one to be able to submit the memorials and proceed to international rounds as an “exhibition team”. Even during the first day of oral pleadings we did not know quite well how the process goes and made severe mistakes, but going to the last rounds we made an unbelieve progress and shocked all the judges.
During this quite challenging period, we went through hundreds of resources concerning the jurisdictions of ICJ; humanitarian actions of UN, CRSC; and hundreds of former cases and upcoming threats to humankind; and how millions of people are suffering from them daily.  They totally changed my world and brought me to the way I am on today.

One Global conflict that puzzles you the most
Being situated in the heartland of Asia, surrounded by four nuclear-weapon states and two permanent members of the UN, Afghanistan became a point where collided the interests of top superpowers resulting in decades of proxy wars with millions of civilians being killed and displaced.
Afghan nation is one of the nations that has never been invaded fully. First wars for Afghanistan were three Anglo-afghan wars between British Empire and Afghan Khans to prevent Russia from advancing to India and win “the Great Game”. However, all three wars ended up disastrously for British Empire. British lost about ten thousand people in the first and twice as more in the second war with nearly no any results. In the third war, Ottoman Empire also joins the game. This time Afghans fight for their rights on international arena and invade the British–Indian army.  Afghanistan became one of the first countries to recognize the Soviet Russia and their relations continue until 1979 when Soviets invade Afghanistan.
Even though the war in the territory of Afghanistan started in 1979 when troops of Soviet Union entered the country, main opposition parties had already been formed. However, next nine-year war was not only between these two parties. Mujahedeen who were supported by USA, China, UK, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia fought against Democratic Party of Afghanistan and Soviet Union, causing the death of nearly two million people and displacement of another millions. Youth of the dead people in Afghanistan during these years started to be trained in the camps of Pakistan and resulted in the appearance of a new terroristic extremal power in the state in 1996, and USSR left the country with no results either.
Starting from 1996, Taliban occupied 90 percent of all territory of the country. After 9/11, USA started to fight against Taliban and support official government. In 2014, NATO stopped fights because of the failure with estimated number of deaths of 150 000 people, of which nearly 40 000 civilians.
Two main powers in the country currently are the official government led by Ashraf Ghani and Taliban lead by Hibatullah Akhundzada. At the moment, official government controls only 55 percent of the whole territory while the influence of Taliban reduced to 12 percent and one third of the state does not belong to any side and out of the control. In 12/02 started the first peaceful negotiations with no results yet for a week; however, this is a big step towards the negotiations and understanding that no external interference can solve a problem and the nationals should be the only side to discuss and solve their problems. Moreover, it gives a big understanding that not recognizing Taliban for this period, as a legitimate power was a huge mistake.
What puzzles me the most is that if any power wants to provide peace in a territory, they should fight against the supporters that are providing all the sources, rather than causes.
Why GSPIA?
4.Ever since I know myself, I remember being not satisfied with the things happening around me, as if things do not work in a proper way and time goes very slow. According to my mom, I started walking at a very early age and was very active. Wherever I go, I could not stand being the second. I do not know something that I have not tried at primary school: I was the best artist, best mathematics student in the whole district, my stories and poems were published in the kids magazine, participated in the drama club and was one of the best Taekwondo students in the town. I started to speak little English when no one even had an idea in our town why one should ever learn a foreign language other than Russian.  When parents understood that this school is not good enough for me, they sent me to a boarding middle school in the city, where I had a huge advancement in terms of my language and scientific skills. At academic lyceum, I started drawing lessons again, played piano but after going to humanitarian subjects a year after, I had to focus on entering the university.
At university, I organized my club, participated and organized MUNs, conferences, seminars and festivals; volunteered in every possible way, had the highest GPA, won several national student competitions with our team despite the lack of support from university. I took our team to national rounds of JESSUP moot court competition on International law for the first time in the history of our university, being away in Russia as an exchange student. Then we could advance to Washington DC as an exhibition team. I was lucky to attend seminars and volunteer in the only private think tank of the country and get interested in the work. However, during this whole period I could never decide whom I want to be in the future.
My life changed totally, when I came back home for quarantine. I rediscovered the life of simple people of my country and was shocked how everything is different in towns. Many people were being the victims of bureaucracy and corruption, not knowing their basic rights, being discriminated or fooled by their own governments. During my internship in one of the political parties of Uzbekistan I realized how process focused they are rather then results.  It was the moment, when I realized that my future is there: giving people chance to live a better life, fight against injustice in societies, get what they deserve, reshape the world and make it a better place to live. All the knowledge I got were meant to help ordinary people.
Now writing this, I realize how it has been hard for me to get out of the little town in the middle of nowhere, make my way towards the upside with no help, sometimes falling, sometimes getting up. Everything I learned and did brought me here, where I can see my true myself and be sure that made the best decision ever. I cannot image the amount of the failures, but I can imagine how strong I got every time I stood up.
The program including both international and public affairs was something that perfectly fits my future carrier plans. Your courses focused on human security can provide the unique chance to learn the conflicts around the globe and reshape the societies.  Besides, your faculty staff with experience in NGOs, UNICEF and humanitarian actions really impressed me. I was really blown away by the ideas of the professors Jennifer Murtazashvili in her book of “Informal order and state in Afghanistan”. Her braveness to work in Afghanistan and other central Asian countries motivated me to take action. I am considering to develop think tanks in my country as a means of tackling social problems where passionate people come together to change the communities and I believe the University of Pittsburg can be the very start of my way towards a better future.
